While the first Ashra emphasizes Allah\u2019s mercy, the second Ashra calls believers to actively <strong data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"847\">seek Maghfirat (forgiveness)<\/strong> through sincere repentance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"928\">Allah invites His servants repeatedly toward Tauba:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"1085\">\n<p data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1085\"><strong data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1064\">\u201cO My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1067\" \/><em data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1085\">(Qur\u2019an 39:53)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1215\">This verse alone is enough to revive hope in every sinner\u2019s heart. It shows that <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1189\">no sin is too big<\/strong> if repentance is sincere.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1220\" \/>\n<h1 data-section-id=\"1ihgd3y\" data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1259\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%93%96_Tauba_in_the_Light_of_the_Quran\"><\/span>\ud83d\udcd6 Tauba in the Light of the Qur\u2019an<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1333\">The Qur\u2019an highlights repentance as a beloved act in the sight of Allah:<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"16oed3z\" data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1370\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Allah_Loves_Those_Who_Repent\"><\/span>1. Allah Loves Those Who Repent<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1475\">\n<p data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1475\"><strong data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1454\">\u201cIndeed, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1457\" \/><em data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1475\">(Qur\u2019an 2:222)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1536\">Repentance is not merely accepted\u2014it is <strong data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1526\">loved<\/strong> by Allah.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"wq75m3\" data-start=\"1538\" data-end=\"1570\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Repentance_Brings_Success\"><\/span>2. Repentance Brings Success<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1571\" data-end=\"1678\">\n<p data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1678\"><strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1657\">\u201cTurn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, so that you may succeed.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1660\" \/><em data-start=\"1662\" data-end=\"1678\">(Qur\u2019an 24:31)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1720\">Success in both worlds is tied to Tauba.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"7yc6iq\" data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"1757\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Replace_Sins_with_Good_Deeds\"><\/span>3. Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (RA)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3495\" data-end=\"3581\">Despite being the closest companion of the Prophet \ufdfa, he would weep in prayer and say:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3583\" data-end=\"3656\">\n<p data-start=\"3585\" data-end=\"3656\">\u201cI wish I were a tree that would be cut down and not held accountable.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3658\" data-end=\"3697\">His humility drove constant repentance.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3699\" data-end=\"3702\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1jgxg10\" data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"3734\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Umar_ibn_Al-Khattab_RA\"><\/span>2.
