Maryam (Arabic: مريم, Maryam; Arabic synonym of "Mary") is the 19th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an with 98 verses (Ayat).
There is a lot of emphasis in Surah 19 on Islamic Prophets, individuals who are chosen by God to spread an important message but are not themselves gods. A significant part of this surah emphasizes that while Jesus is a Prophet, he is not God's son and shouldn't be viewed that way
