Al-Masad (Arabic: المسد, al-masad, meaning: "Twisted Strands" or "The Palm Fiber") is the 111th chapter (Surah) of the Quran. It has 5 verses and recounts the punishments that Abu Lahab and his wife will suffer in Hell.
