Ayah 35

وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ

35. And from his mother and father.

Surah Name : Abasa   Surah Number : 80   Ayat Number: 35

Ayah 3

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ

3.And by your father and his progeny[3].

Surah Name : Al-Balad   Surah Number : 90   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ

1. The hands of Abu Lahab [2] have perished, and he has perished [3].

Ayah 6

لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ

6. That you may warn people whose fathers were not warned, that they are unaware [6].

Ayah 22

وَلَا تَنكِحُواْ مَا نَكَحَ ءَابَآؤُكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٰحِشَةٗ وَمَقۡتٗا وَسَآءَ سَبِيلًا

22. And do not marry those (women) whom your fathers have married [81], except what has already passed [82]. Indeed, that is an act of indecency, hateful, and a very evil way.

Ayah 176

يَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُفۡتِيكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكَلَٰلَةِۚ إِنِ ٱمۡرُؤٌاْ هَلَكَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَهُۥٓ أُخۡتٞ فَلَهَا نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَكَۚ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمۡ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٞۚ فَإِن كَانَتَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَلَهُمَا ٱلثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَۚ وَإِن كَانُوٓاْ إِخۡوَةٗ رِّجَالٗا وَنِسَآءٗ فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۗ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ أَن تَضِلُّواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمُۢ

176. (O Beloved Prophet Muhammad) They request from you a decree [496]. Say: Allah decrees to you regarding a person who leaves [497] neither father nor child. If a man dies and has no child but only a sister, she will inherit half of what he left. And the man will be the heir of his sister if she [498] has no child. However, if there are two sisters, they will inherit two-thirds [499] of what he left. If there are brothers and sisters, males and females [500], then the share of the male is equal to the shares of two women [501]. Allah explains to you clearly so that you may not go astray [502]. And Allah knows everything.

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 176

Ayah 233

۞وَٱلۡوَٰلِدَٰتُ يُرۡضِعۡنَ أَوۡلَٰدَهُنَّ حَوۡلَيۡنِ كَامِلَيۡنِۖ لِمَنۡ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ ٱلرَّضَاعَةَۚ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمَوۡلُودِ لَهُۥ رِزۡقُهُنَّ وَكِسۡوَتُهُنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفۡسٌ إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَا تُضَآرَّ وَٰلِدَةُۢ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوۡلُودٞ لَّهُۥ بِوَلَدِهِۦۚ وَعَلَى ٱلۡوَارِثِ مِثۡلُ ذَٰلِكَۗ فَإِنۡ أَرَادَا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٖ مِّنۡهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٖ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡهِمَاۗ وَإِنۡ أَرَدتُّمۡ أَن تَسۡتَرۡضِعُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَكُمۡ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذَا سَلَّمۡتُم مَّآ ءَاتَيۡتُم بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۗ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ

233. And the mothers should breastfeed their children for two complete years [564], for whoever wishes to complete [565] the nursing period. And upon the father is the responsibility of the mothers' provision and clothing, according to what is acceptable [566]. No soul is burdened beyond its capacity. Neither should a mother be made to suffer because of her child nor should a father suffer because of his child [567]. The same duty is upon the father’s heir [568]. But if they both decide, by mutual consent and consultation, to wean, there is no sin [569] upon them. And if you wish to have your children nursed by someone else, there is no blame [570] on you, as long as you pay what you agreed upon in a fair manner [571]. And fear Allah and know that Allah is seeing what you do.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 233

Ayah 82

وَأَمَّا ٱلۡجِدَارُ فَكَانَ لِغُلَٰمَيۡنِ يَتِيمَيۡنِ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ تَحۡتَهُۥ كَنزٞ لَّهُمَا وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَٰلِحٗا فَأَرَادَ رَبُّكَ أَن يَبۡلُغَآ أَشُدَّهُمَا وَيَسۡتَخۡرِجَا كَنزَهُمَا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ وَمَا فَعَلۡتُهُۥ عَنۡ أَمۡرِيۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَأۡوِيلُ مَا لَمۡ تَسۡطِع عَّلَيۡهِ صَبۡرٗا

82. And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan lads in the city, and beneath it was their treasure, and their father was a righteous man. So your Lord desired [187] that they should reach their maturity [188] and extract their treasure as a mercy [189] from your Lord. And I did not do it by my own command [190]. This is the interpretation of that which you could not bear patiently [191].

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 82

Ayah 44

بَلۡ مَتَّعۡنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۗ أَفَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَنَّا نَأۡتِي ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَآۚ أَفَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

44. Nay, We allowed them and their fathers to carry on, until their life grew long [70] upon them. Do they then not observe that We are coming gradually reducing the land from its outlying borders? [71] Will they then overcome?

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 52

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنتُمۡ لَهَا عَٰكِفُونَ

52. When he said to his father [83] and his people, 'what are these images before which you are sitting firmly' (for worship) (84).

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 52

Ayah 53

قَالُواْ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَٰبِدِينَ

53. They said, "we found our fathers worshipping them.'

Ayah 54

قَالَ لَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُمۡ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

54. He said, 'Indeed, you and your fathers are in manifest error [85].

Ayah 28

يَـٰٓأُخۡتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمۡرَأَ سَوۡءٖ وَمَا كَانَتۡ أُمُّكِ بَغِيّٗا

28. O sister of Harun [46]! Your father was not a wicked man, nor was your mother unchaste.

Ayah 42

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنكَ شَيۡـٔٗا

42. When he said to his father [70], "O my father, why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and it is of no benefit to you [71]?"

Ayah 43

يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدۡ جَآءَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ يَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِيٓ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَٰطٗا سَوِيّٗا

43. "O my father, indeed there has come to me knowledge which has not come to you [72]. So follow me [73], and I will guide you to a straight path."

Surah Name : Maryam   Surah Number : 19   Ayat Number: 43

Ayah 45

يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٞ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيّٗا

45. O my father! I fear that the torment of the Most Affectionate may reach you [76], and then you become the companion of the devil (Shaitaan).

Ayah 4

إِذۡ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيۡتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوۡكَبٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ رَأَيۡتُهُمۡ لِي سَٰجِدِينَ

4. When Yusuf (Joseph) said to his father, my father, I saw eleven stars(7), and the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating to me(8).

Ayah 8

إِذۡ قَالُواْ لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحۡنُ عُصۡبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ

8. When they said, "Surely Yusuf [Joseph] and his brother[15] are dearer to our father than we are, while we are a strong clan[16]. No doubt, our father is in clear error[17]."

Ayah 11

قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا مَا لَكَ لَا تَأۡمَ۬نَّا عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَنَٰصِحُونَ

11. They said, "O our father, why do you not trust us with Yusuf [Joseph], while we are indeed his well-wishers[21]?"

Ayah 16

وَجَآءُوٓ أَبَاهُمۡ عِشَآءٗ يَبۡكُونَ

16. And at night they came to their father weeping[29].
