Ayah 17

قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ

17. Human beings may perish as to what makes him disbelieve.

Ayah 10

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

10. Cursed are those on that day who belie.

Ayah 29

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ

29. Indeed the culprits used to laugh at the believers.

Ayah 30

وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ

30. That when they pass by them, they wink at each other.

Ayah 31

وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ

31. And when they return to their families they pass by joking [21].

Ayah 32

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ

32. And when they see (believers) they say: "Surely they are the ones gone astray" [22]

33. Yet they are not sent as guards [23] over them.

هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

Ayah 20

فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

20. What is it to them that they do not believe?

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى

11. But the wretched [14] one will shun.

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ

13. Who will neither die therein nor live [16].
