Ayah 183

وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ

183.And I will let them have respite. Certainly, My Secret Plan is the firmest [417].

Ayah 61

وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيۡهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةٗ وَلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ

61. And if Allah would have [123] taken them for their wrongdoings, then He would have left no [124] crawling creature on earth, but He defers them till a fixed time [125]; then when their time comes, they cannot remain behind a single hour, nor can they go ahead of it [126].

فَيَقُولُواْ هَلۡ نَحۡنُ مُنظَرُونَ

203. Then they will say, "Shall we be given respite?" [201]

فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِۦ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَبۡوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓاْ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بَغۡتَةٗ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبۡلِسُونَ

44. Then, when they forgot what they had been reminded of, We opened the gates of all things for them [85]. Until, when they rejoiced at what they were given [86], We seized them suddenly [87], and they were left in despair [88].
