مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ

Maa tasbiqu min ummatin ajalahaa wa maa yastaakhiroon

43. No nation can go ahead of its period, nor can it remain behind. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(43) No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter]. (Saheeh International Translation)
