إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Iz qaala lahum akhoohum Lootun alaa tattaqoon

161.When their brother Lot [160] said to them, "Will you not fear [Allah]?" [161] (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

Surah Ash-Shu‘ara – Verse 161 – Tafsir

When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear [Allah]?" [161]

[161] A Brother’s Call to Taqwa

Lot عليه السلام, their own kin, calls them to fear Allah.
This appeal to conscience and kinship aims to awaken their sense of accountability and repentance.
