Surah As-Sajdah

English Translation, Transliteration, Tafsir - Ayat [21-30]
 
Ayah 21 of 10

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَدۡنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

Wa lanuzeeqan nahum minal 'azaabil adnaa doonal 'azaabil akbari la'allahum yarji'oon
21. And certainly We shall make them to taste the nearer [43] punishment, before the greater punishment, so that the one who sees it, may hope that just now may turn [44] back repenting.
Ayah 22 of 10

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ثُمَّ أَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهَآۚ إِنَّا مِنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ

Wa man azlamu mimman zukkira bi aayaati rabbihee summa a'rada 'anhaa; innaa minal mujrimeena muntaqimoon (section 2)
22. And who is more unjust than he who has been reminded by the signs of his Lord, and then such a one turns away [45] his back from them? Indeed We shall punish the culprits.
Ayah 23 of 10

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ هُدٗى لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ

Wa laqad aatainaa Moosal Kitaaba falaa takun fee miryatim mil liqaaa'ihee wa ja'alnaahu hudal li Baneee Israaa'eel
23.And certainly We bestowed [46] the Book upon Musa. You therefore, do not doubt [47] seeing Him. And We made it a guidance (48) for the Children of Israel.
Ayah 24 of 10

وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ يَهۡدُونَ بِأَمۡرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُواْۖ وَكَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

Wa ja'alnaa minhum a'immatany yahdoona bi amrinaa lammaa sabaroo wa kaanoo bi aayaatinaa yooqinoon
24. And We appointed from amongst them some leaders [49] (Imams) that they guide by Our Command, while they themselves endured patiently and firmly believed in Our Signs.
Ayah 25 of 10

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفۡصِلُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ

Inna rabbaka huwa yafsilu bainahum yawmal qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon
25.Indeed your Lord shall decide between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that in which they used to differ [51].
Ayah 26 of 10

أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

Awalam yahdi lahum kam ahlaknaa min qablihim minal qurooni yamshoona fee masaakinihim; inna fee zaalika la aayaatin afalaa yasma'oon
26.And they have not been guided right by this that We have already destroyed many generations before them in whose dwellings they are today walking about. Certainly, in it are signs. Will they not then hear?[52].
Ayah 27 of 10

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلۡمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡجُرُزِ فَنُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعٗا تَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهُ أَنۡعَٰمُهُمۡ وَأَنفُسُهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا يُبۡصِرُونَ

Awalam yaraw annaa nasooqul maaa'a ilal ardil juruzi fanukhriju bihee zar'an ta'kulu minhu an'aamuhum wa anfusuhum afalaa yubsiroon
27. And do they not see that We send water towards dry land, and produce thereby crops [53], of which their cattle and they themselves eat [54]? Do they not then see?
Ayah 28 of 10

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡفَتۡحُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal fath hu in kuntum saadiqeen
28.And they say; "When will this victory take place, if you are truthful?"[55].
Ayah 29 of 10

قُلۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَتۡحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ

Qul yawmal fath hi laa yanfa'ul lazeena kafarooo eemaanuhum wa laa hum yunzaroon
29.Please declare; "On the Day of Victory the faithfulness of the infidels shall not benefit [56] them, and nor will they get time [57].
Ayah 30 of 10

فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱنتَظِرۡ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ

Fa a'rid 'anhum wantazir innahum muntaziroon (section 3)
30. Therefore turn [58] away from them and wait. Indeed they are also waiting.
