The summary/theme of the surah al-‘ankabūt: 

Muslims who are sincere are strengthened by this Surah, and those who are weak in their faith are admonished. During those days, some young men faced questions regarding Islam, and their parents encouraged them to return to their ancestral religion in place of Islam. This Surah also addresses these questions.

Lesson learned from  surah al-‘ankabūt: 

  1. Do we think that we will be left alone without being tested on our aªm'n? Being tested is inevitable.  
  2. Allah's gives parables and examples in the Quran that only the knowledgeable understand.  
  3. Ṣal'h performed properly will stop you from committing sins.  
  4. Every soul shall taste death  
  5. The life of the Hereafter is one worth living and anticipating.  
  6. Whoever strives in the way of Allah's, Allah's will guide him/her.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الٓمٓ

Alif-Laaam-Meeem
1. Alif, Lâm, Mîm.
Verset 2 sur 10

أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتۡرَكُوٓاْ أَن يَقُولُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمۡ لَا يُفۡتَنُونَ

Ahasiban naasu any yutrakooo any yaqoolooo aamannaa wa hum la yuftanoon
2. Les hommes pensent-ils que parce qu’ils disent : « Nous croyons !» ils seront laissés sans être mis à l’épreuve?
Verset 3 sur 10

وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

Wa laqad fatannal lazeena min qablihim fala ya'lamannal laahul lazeena sadaqoo wa la ya'lamannal kaazibeen
3. Nous avons déjà mis à l’épreuve ceux qui les ont précédés. C’est ainsi qu’Allah connaît ceux qui disent vrai et ceux qui mentent.
Verset 4 sur 10

أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَسۡبِقُونَاۚ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ

Am hasibal lazeena ya'maloonas sayyiaati any yasbiqoonaa; saaa'a maa yahkumoon
4. Ceux qui commettent les œuvres impies s’imaginent donc pouvoir Nous distancer?[392] Combien mauvais est leur jugement !
Verset 5 sur 10

مَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ لِقَآءَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ لَأٓتٖۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

Man kaana yarjoo liqaaa 'allaahi fa inna ajalal laahi la'aat; wa Huwass Sameeul 'Aleem
5. Celui qui espère rencontrer Allah (doit savoir que) le terme fixé par Allah arrivera certainement. C’est Lui Qui Entend Tout et c’est Lui l’Omniscient.
Verset 6 sur 10

وَمَن جَٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَٰهِدُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Wa man jaahada fainnamaa yujaahidu linafsih; innal laaha laghaniyyun 'anil 'aalameen
6. Celui qui fait des efforts (pour accomplir les bonnes œuvres) ne le fait que pour lui-même, car Allah Se passe de Tout l’Univers.
Verset 7 sur 10

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lanukaf firanna 'anhum saiyiaatihim wa lanajziyannahum ahsanal lazee kaanoo ya'maloon
7. Ceux qui ont cru et ont accompli les bonnes œuvres, Nous rachèterons leurs mauvaises actions, et Nous les rétribuerons pour leurs plus belles œuvres.

Verset 8 sur 10

وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ حُسۡنٗاۖ وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشۡرِكَ بِي مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَآۚ إِلَيَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

Wa wassainal insaana biwaalidaihi husnanw wa in jaahadaaka litushrika bee maa laisa laka bihee 'ilmun falaa tuti'humaa; ilaiya marji'ukum fa unabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon
8. Nous avons recommandé à l’homme d’être bienveillant envers ses parents : « Mais s’ils essaient de te contraindre à M’associer ce dont tu n’as nulle science, tu ne leur obéiras point. » C’est vers Moi que vous ferez tous retour, et Je vous informerai certes de ce que vous faisiez.
Verset 9 sur 10

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُدۡخِلَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

Wallazeena aamanoo wa'amilus saalihaati lanudkhilan nahum fis saaliheen
9. Ceux qui ont cru et ont accompli les bonnes œuvres, Nous les ferons admettre parmi les gens vertueux.
Verset 10 sur 10

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِيَ فِي ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتۡنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَئِن جَآءَ نَصۡرٞ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمۡۚ أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Wa minan naasi many yaqoolu aamannaa billaahi faizaaa ooziya fil laahi ja'ala fitnatan naasi ka'azaabil laahi wa la'in jaaa'a nasrum mir Rabbika la yaqoolunna innaa kunnaa ma'akum; awa laisal laahu bi a'lama bimaa fee sudooril 'aalameen
10. Il est des hommes qui disent : « Nous croyons en Allah ! » Mais dès qu’ils ont à souffrir pour la cause d’Allah, ils tiennent cette épreuve (imposée par) les hommes pour un supplice (venu) d’Allah. Quand, en revanche, vient un secours de ton Seigneur, ils s’écrient : « Nous avons toujours été avec vous ! » Mais Allah ne Sait-il pas mieux (que personne) ce que recèlent les cœurs de tous les hommes ?
