Ayah 8

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ

8. And whosoever has done an evil deed of an atom's weight shall see it.

Ayah 3

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

3. "And from the evil of the darkness when it sets in [4]."

Ayah 4

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ

4. "And from the evil of those women who blow on the knots [5]."

Ayah 5

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

5. "And from the evil of the envier when he envies (me)(6) "

Ayah 4

مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ

4. From the evil of him who whispers evil designs in the hearts [5] and slinks away [6].

Ayah 18

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

18. They replied: "We surely augur evil [25] fortune from you. If you do not desist [26], we shall surely stone you, and a painful punishment shall surely fall on you (27), at our hands".

Ayah 19

قَالُواْ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمۡ أَئِن ذُكِّرۡتُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّسۡرِفُونَ

19. They (Messengers) said: "Your evil fortune (28) is with you. Is it that you are made to understand? No, you are a people exceeding the limits (29)",

Ayah 17

إِنَّمَا ٱلتَّوۡبَةُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَٰلَةٖ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٖ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا

17. But repentance is not (accepted) of those who (continue to) [69] do evil until death comes to any one of them saying: "Indeed I repent now." Or, if those who die as infidels; for them, We have prepared a painful torment [70].

Ayah 22

وَلَا تَنكِحُواْ مَا نَكَحَ ءَابَآؤُكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٰحِشَةٗ وَمَقۡتٗا وَسَآءَ سَبِيلًا

22. And do not marry those (women) whom your fathers have married [81], except what has already passed [82]. Indeed, that is an act of indecency, hateful, and a very evil way.

Ayah 38

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۗ وَمَن يَكُنِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ لَهُۥ قَرِينٗا فَسَآءَ قَرِينٗا

38. And those who spend their wealth [148] to show off to people [149], and do not believe in Allah or the Last Day. Whoever takes Satan as a companion, then what an evil companion he is [150].

Ayah 78

أَيۡنَمَا تَكُونُواْ يُدۡرِككُّمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ وَلَوۡ كُنتُمۡ فِي بُرُوجٖ مُّشَيَّدَةٖۗ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ حَسَنَةٞ يَقُولُواْ هَٰذِهِۦ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةٞ يَقُولُواْ هَٰذِهِۦ مِنۡ عِندِكَۚ قُلۡ كُلّٞ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَمَالِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ لَا يَكَادُونَ يَفۡقَهُونَ حَدِيثٗا

78. Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be in strong forts[251]. If some good reaches them, they say: "This is from Allah" and if some evil befalls them, they say: "This has come from you"[252]. Say: "Everything is from Allah". Then what has happened to these people that they fail to understand any statement?[253]

Ayah 79

مَّآ أَصَابَكَ مِنۡ حَسَنَةٖ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٖ فَمِن نَّفۡسِكَۚ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولٗاۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدٗا

79. Whatever good comes to you is from Allah[254], and whatever evil reaches you is from yourself[255]. And O beloved (Muhammad), We have sent you as a Messenger to all mankind[256]. And Allah is sufficient as a witness (to that).

Ayah 85

مَّن يَشۡفَعۡ شَفَٰعَةً حَسَنَةٗ يَكُن لَّهُۥ نَصِيبٞ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن يَشۡفَعۡ شَفَٰعَةٗ سَيِّئَةٗ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كِفۡلٞ مِّنۡهَاۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مُّقِيتٗا

85. Whosoever makes a good intercession, there is a share [270] in it for him, and whosoever makes an evil intercession, there is a share [271] in it for him. And Allah has power over everything.

Ayah 88

۞فَمَا لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيۡنِ وَٱللَّهُ أَرۡكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوٓاْۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهۡدُواْ مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلٗا

88. What happened to you that you were divided [275] into two groups regarding the hypocrites, and Allah turned them back for their evil deeds [276]? Do you desire to guide him whom Allah has led astray? And whom Allah leads astray, never will you find him a way (of guidance).

Ayah 110

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ يَظۡلِمۡ نَفۡسَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَ يَجِدِ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

110. And whoso commits evil or wrongs his own soul and thereafter seeks forgiveness of Allah, shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful [344].

Ayah 115

وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَيَتَّبِعۡ غَيۡرَ سَبِيلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِۦ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصۡلِهِۦ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَسَآءَتۡ مَصِيرًا

115. And whoso opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear [354], and follows a way other than the way of the Muslims [355], We shall leave him in his own condition and shall cause him to enter Hell. What an evil destination that is.

Ayah 148

۞لَّا يُحِبُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ بِٱلسُّوٓءِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ إِلَّا مَن ظُلِمَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا

148. Allah does not like the uttering of evil words [430] except one who is being oppressed [431]. And Allah is Ever Hearing, Knowing [432].

Ayah 149

إِن تُبۡدُواْ خَيۡرًا أَوۡ تُخۡفُوهُ أَوۡ تَعۡفُواْ عَن سُوٓءٖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوّٗا قَدِيرًا

149. If you do any good deed openly or in secret or pardon anyone's evil [433], then surely Allah is Pardoning, Powerful.

Ayah 102

وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتۡلُواْ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلۡكِ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيۡمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلۡمَلَكَيۡنِ بِبَابِلَ هَٰرُوتَ وَمَٰرُوتَۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٞ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنۡهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَزَوۡجِهِۦۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمۡۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَٰقٖۚ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ

102. And they followed (instead) what the Shaitaan had recited during the reign of Sulaiman [195]. It was not Sulaiman who disbelieved, but the Shaitaan who disbelieved [196], teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut [197]. And they (the two angels) do not teach anyone anything unless they say: "We are merely a test. Therefore, do not be infidels" [198]. And they learn from them that which causes separation [199] between husband and wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And they learn what will harm them and not benefit them [200]. And certainly, they knew whosoever traded in it (magic) will have no share [201] in the Hereafter. And surely, most evil is that for which they have sold themselves, if only they had known.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 102

Ayah 169

إِنَّمَا يَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلسُّوٓءِ وَٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

169. He (the devil) only commands you to do evil and indecency [359], and to say about Allah that which you do not know[360].
