The summary/theme of the surah Al-Qasas:

 The revelation of surah Qasas was intended to give the promise of victory to those believers who were a minority before migrating from Mecca to Medina and endured the most difficult conditions at the time of the Prophet.

Lesson learned from surah Al-Qasas:

  1. If Allah's wants something doing, His plans for it are meticulous.  
  2. You cannot give hid'yah (guidance) to whomsoever you love and wish to; it is only Allah's that gives hid'yah.  
  3. Allah's knows what the chests conceal and what they expose.  
  4. If Allah's was to cause persistent daylight, there is no power that can cause nightfall.  
  5. If Allah's was to cause persistent nightfall, there is no power besides Him that can bring daylight.  
  6. Do not become exceedingly happy; Allah's doesn’t like such people.

تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ

Tilka Aayaatul Kitaabil mubeen

Verset 3 sur 10

نَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Natloo 'alaika min naba-i Moosaa wa Fir'awna bilhaqqi liqawminy yu'miinoon
3. Nous te relatons, en toute vérité, quelques faits de l’histoire de Moïse et de Pharaon, à l’adresse des gens qui ont la foi.
Verset 4 sur 10

إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعٗا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآئِفَةٗ مِّنۡهُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

Inna Fir'awna 'alaa fil ardi wa ja'ala ahlahaa shiya'ai yastad'ifu taaa'ifatam minhum yuzabbihu abnaaa'ahum wa yastahyee nisaaa'ahum; innahoo kaana minal mufsideen
4. Pharaon (qui) s’enflait d’orgueil et transgressait sur terre divisa ses habitants en divers clans. Il en opprimait le plus faible, dont il faisait égorger les enfants, et laissait vivre les femmes. Il faisait certes partie des corrupteurs.
Verset 5 sur 10

وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ

Wa nureedu an namunna 'alal lazeenas tud'ifoo fil ardi wa naj'alahum a'immatanw wa naj'alahumul waariseen
5. Nous voulions favoriser ceux qui étaient opprimés sur terre, en faire des guides et en faire des héritiers ;
Verset 6 sur 10

وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنُرِيَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَحۡذَرُونَ

Wa numakkina lahum fil ardi wa nuriya Fir'awna wa Haamaana wa junoodahumaa minhum maa kaanoo yahzaroon
6. Nous voulions affermir leur situation sur terre et montrer à Pharaon, à Hâmân et à leurs armées ce qu’ils redoutaient de la part (des opprimés).
Verset 7 sur 10

وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَرۡضِعِيهِۖ فَإِذَا خِفۡتِ عَلَيۡهِ فَأَلۡقِيهِ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحۡزَنِيٓۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيۡكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Wa awhainaaa ilaaa ummi Moosaaa an ardi'eehi faizaa khifti 'alaihi fa alqeehi filyammi wa laa takhaafee wa laa tahzaneee innaa raaaddoohu ilaiki wa jaa'iloohu minal mursaleen
7. Nous inspirâmes à la mère de Moïse : « Allaite-le. Et si tu crains pour lui, jette-le dans le fleuve. N’aie pas peur et ne sois pas triste, car Nous allons te le rendre. Et Nous ferons de lui un Messager. »
Verset 8 sur 10

فَٱلۡتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمۡ عَدُوّٗا وَحَزَنًاۗ إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُواْ خَٰطِـِٔينَ

Faltaqatahooo Aalu Fir'awna li yakoona lahum 'aduwwanw wa hazanaa; inna Fir'awna wa Haamaana wa junooda humaa kaanoo khaati'een
8. La famille de Pharaon le recueillit alors, pour qu’il devienne pour eux un ennemi et une cause de malheur. Pharaon, Hâmân et leurs armées étaient dans l’erreur.
Verset 9 sur 10

وَقَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قُرَّتُ عَيۡنٖ لِّي وَلَكَۖ لَا تَقۡتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

Wa qaalatim ra atu Fir'awna qurratu 'aynil lee wa lak; laa taqtuloohu 'asaaa aiyanfa'anaa aw nattakhizahoo waladanw wa hum laa yash'uroon
9. La femme de Pharaon dit : « Ce sera la joie de mes yeux et des tiens. Ne le tuez pas. Il nous sera peut-être utile, ou alors nous le prendrons comme notre fils! » Et ils ne pouvaient (encore) rien sentir.
Verset 10 sur 10

وَأَصۡبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًاۖ إِن كَادَتۡ لَتُبۡدِي بِهِۦ لَوۡلَآ أَن رَّبَطۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Wa asbaha fu'aadu ummi Moosaa faarighan in kaadat latubdee bihee law laaa arrabatnaa 'alaa qalbihaa litakoona minal mu'mineen
10. Le cœur de la mère de Moïse fut envahi d’un grand vide et elle faillit tout révéler, mais Nous affermîmes son courage pour qu’elle fût du nombre des croyants.
