Saba(Arabic: سبأ, saba’; from the city called "Sheba") is the 34th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an with 54 verses (Ayat).

The summary of the Surah Saba:

 There were many objections raised by the disbelievers against the Prophet's message of Tawhid, the Hereafter, and his Prophethood in this Surah, mostly in the form of allegations, taunts, and mockery.

Lesson learned from Surah Saba:

  1. Allah's has knowledge of everything.  
  2. D'wūd عليه السلام was blessed with the skill of being able to mould iron. It would miraculously soften for him.  
  3. Very few people are truly grateful to Allah's.  
  4. The people of Saba were blessed greatly by Allah's, but this changed dramatically when they were ungrateful.  
  5. Allah's is the only one who sustains us.  
  6. The Prophet ﷺ sought no recompense from the people for fulfilling his duty of prophethood.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 
Verset 1 sur 10

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Alhamdu lillaahil lazee lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa lahul hamdu fil aakhirah; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer
1. Louange à Allah, à Qui appartient ce qui est dans les cieux et sur terre. À Lui la louange dans l’autre monde. Il est le Sage, l’Informé.
Verset 2 sur 10

يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ

Ya'lamu maa yaliju fil ardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa'i wa maa ya'ruju feehaa; wa Huwar Raheemul Ghafoor
2. Il Sait ce qui entre dans la terre et ce qui en sort, ce qui descend du ciel et ce qui y monte, et c’est Lui le Tout Miséricordieux, l’Absoluteur.
Verset 3 sur 10

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَأۡتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُۖ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَآ أَصۡغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكۡبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ

Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo laa taateenas Saa'ah; qul balaa wa Rabbee lataatiyannakum 'Aalimul Ghaib; laa ya'zubu 'anhu misqaalu zarratin fis samaawaati wa laa fil ardi wa laaa asgharu min zaalika wa laaa akbaru illaa fee kitaabim mubeen
3. Ceux qui ont mécru disent : « L’Heure ne viendra pas pour nous. » Dis : « Que si, par mon Seigneur ! Vous la verrez certainement venir. » (Allah est) Celui Qui connaît l’Inconnaissable (ghayb), à Qui rien ne peut échapper, fût-ce le poids d’un atome dans les cieux ou sur terre. Il n’est rien de plus petit ou de plus grand qui ne soit (consigné) dans un Livre explicite,
Verset 4 sur 10

لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ

Liyajziyal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaat; ulaaa'ika lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem
4. et ce, afin qu’Il récompense ceux qui ont cru et ont accompli les bonnes œuvres. Ceux-là auront pardon et dons généreux.
Verset 5 sur 10

وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ

Wallazeena sa'aw feee aayaatinaa mu'aajizeena ulaaa 'ika lahum 'azaabum mir rijzin aleem
5. Quant à ceux qui s’emploient à rejeter Nos versets pour les rendre sans effet, ceux-là subiront le plus douloureux des tourments.
Verset 6 sur 10

وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

Wa yaral lazeena ootul 'ilmal lazeee unzila ilaika mir Rabbika huwal haqqa wa yahdeee ilaaa siraatil 'Azeezil Hameed
6. Ceux qui ont reçu la science voient (bien) que ce qui est descendu (en révélation) vers toi de la part de ton Seigneur est la vérité et qu’il guide vers la voie du Tout-Puissant, le Digne de Louange.
Verset 7 sur 10

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ

Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo hal nadullukum 'alaa rajuliny yunabbi 'ukum izaa muzziqtum kulla mumazzaqin innakum lafee khalqin jadeed
7. Ceux qui ont mécru disent : « Voulez-vous que nous vous indiquions un homme qui vous prédira qu’une fois décomposés en infimes parties vous renaîtrez à une nouvelle création ?
Verset 8 sur 10

أَفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلۡبَعِيدِ

Aftaraa 'alal laahi kaziban am bihee jinnah; balil lazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati fil'azaabi wad dalaalil ba'eed
8. Débite-t-il donc des mensonges sur le compte d’Allah ou est-il atteint de démence ? » Non, ceux qui ne croient pas en l’autre monde seront soumis au supplice et iront loin dans l’égarement.
Verset 9 sur 10

أَفَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِن نَّشَأۡ نَخۡسِفۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ نُسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّكُلِّ عَبۡدٖ مُّنِيبٖ

Afalam yaraw ilaa maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum minas samaaa'i wal ard; in nashad nakhsif bihimul arda aw nusqit 'alaihim kisafam minas samaaa'; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal likulli 'abdim muneeb (section 1)
9. Ne voient-ils donc pas ce qu’il y a devant et derrière eux du ciel et de la terre ? Si Nous voulions, Nous ferions se dérober sous eux la terre (pour qu’ils y soient engloutis) ou ferions tomber sur eux des pans du ciel. Il y a certes là un Signe pour tout serviteur repentant.
Verset 10 sur 10

۞وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضۡلٗاۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيۡرَۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلۡحَدِيدَ

Wa laqad aatainaa Daawooda minnaa fadlany yaa jibaalu awwibee ma'ahoo wattaira wa alannaa lahul hadeed
10. À David, il est venu de Nous une faveur. Ô montagnes, entonnez avec lui les louanges, et vous aussi, oiseaux ! Nous lui avons rendu malléable le fer.
