Surah Al-Qamar (Arabic: القمر, romanized: al-qamar, meaning 'The Moon') is the 54th chapter (surah) of the Quran, comprising 55 verses (ayat).
This surah was revealed in Mecca. The opening verses refer to the splitting of the moon.
