Ayah 9

أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ

9. Their eyes will remain cast down.

Surah Name : An-Naziat   Surah Number : 79   Ayat Number: 9

Ayah 8

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ

8. Have We not given him two eyes[8]?

Surah Name : Al-Balad   Surah Number : 90   Ayat Number: 8

Ayah 66

وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبۡصِرُونَ

66.If We had so willed, We could have mutilated their eyes. Then they would have rushed towards the path. But how would they be able to see [98]?

Surah Name : Ya-Sin   Surah Number : 36   Ayat Number: 66

Ayah 7

خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَعَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِمۡۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ غِشَٰوَةٞۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts [22] and on their ears, and over their eyes there is a dark covering, and for them there will be a severe torment.

Ayah 23

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

23. Say, "It is He Who created you and made for you the ears, the eyes, and the hearts [47]. Little is it that you give thanks [48]."

Surah Name : Al-Mulk   Surah Number : 67   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 101

ٱلَّذِينَ كَانَتۡ أَعۡيُنُهُمۡ فِي غِطَآءٍ عَن ذِكۡرِي وَكَانُواْ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ سَمۡعًا

101. They are those whose eyes were covered from My remembrance and who could not hear [223].

Ayah 97

وَٱقۡتَرَبَ ٱلۡوَعۡدُ ٱلۡحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبۡصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا قَدۡ كُنَّا فِي غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا بَلۡ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

97. And the true promise drew near, then the eyes of the infidels [151], will remain staring and woe to us. Indeed, we were headless of this and rather we were unjust [152],

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 97

Ayah 78

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

78. And it is He who made for you ears and eyes and a heart [113]. Very little you are grateful [114].

Ayah 20

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّصۡفُوفَةٖۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ

20.Reclining on couches set in rows [21]. And We shall unite [22] them with fair maidens having large beautiful eyes,

Ayah 48

وَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَاۖ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

48.And (O Beloved Prophet) be patient for the judgment of your Lord, for you are indeed before Our eyes [57]. And glorify your Lord with praise when you rise [59].

Ayah 111

لَقَدۡ كَانَ فِي قَصَصِهِمۡ عِبۡرَةٞ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِۗ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثٗا يُفۡتَرَىٰ وَلَٰكِن تَصۡدِيقَ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَتَفۡصِيلَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

111. Certainly, in their tidings, there is a lesson for those of understanding [231]. This is not a fabricated narration, but a confirmation of what came before it and a detailed explanation of all things, and a guidance and mercy for a people who believe [232].

Ayah 6

يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ فِي ٱلۡحَقِّ بَعۡدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَوۡتِ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

6. They dispute with you concerning the truth after it has become clear, as though they are being driven towards death while they look on [12].

Ayah 44

وَإِذۡ يُرِيكُمُوهُمۡ إِذِ ٱلۡتَقَيۡتُمۡ فِيٓ أَعۡيُنِكُمۡ قَلِيلٗا وَيُقَلِّلُكُمۡ فِيٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ لِيَقۡضِيَ ٱللَّهُ أَمۡرٗا كَانَ مَفۡعُولٗاۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ

44. And when, at the time of the encounter, Allah made them appear few in your eyes and made you appear few in their eyes [99], so that Allah might accomplish the matter destined to be fulfilled [100]. And to Allah all matters return [101].

Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 40

إِذۡ تَمۡشِيٓ أُخۡتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَن يَكۡفُلُهُۥۖ فَرَجَعۡنَٰكَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّكَ كَيۡ تَقَرَّ عَيۡنُهَا وَلَا تَحۡزَنَۚ وَقَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسٗا فَنَجَّيۡنَٰكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّـٰكَ فُتُونٗاۚ فَلَبِثۡتَ سِنِينَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئۡتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٖ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

40. When your sister [39] walked along, then she said, 'Shall I tell you about who will nurse [40] this child'. Then We turned you back to your mother that she may find coolness in her eyes and that she may not be grieved (41). And you slew a soul, and then We delivered you from sorrow (42) and tested you well. Then you did stay with the people of Madyan (43) for many years, and then you came at a fixed promise O Musa! (44).

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 40

Ayah 131

وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ زَهۡرَةَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لِنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَرِزۡقُ رَبِّكَ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰ

131. And O Listener! Stretch not your eyes to what we have given to the pairs [188] of the infidels to enjoy the freshness of the living world, that We may thereby try them. And the provision of your Lord is the best and ever lasting [189].

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 131

Ayah 47

۞وَإِذَا صُرِفَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تِلۡقَآءَ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

47. And when their eyes are turned towards the companions of Hell, they will say: "O our Lord! Do not place us with the unjust" [110].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 47

Ayah 116

قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ

116. Musa said: "You throw." When they threw, they enchanted the eyes of the people and frightened them, and they brought forth a great magic.

Ayah 179

وَلَقَدۡ ذَرَأۡنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡيُنٞ لَّا يُبۡصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ ءَاذَانٞ لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ

179.Certainly, We have created many from the jinn [410] and men for Hell. They have hearts but do not understand with them, and they have eyes but do not see with them, and they have ears but do not hear with them [411]. They are like cattle; rather, they are more misguided [412]. They are indeed the heedless.

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 179

Ayah 195

أَلَهُمۡ أَرۡجُلٞ يَمۡشُونَ بِهَآۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ أَيۡدٖ يَبۡطِشُونَ بِهَآۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ أَعۡيُنٞ يُبۡصِرُونَ بِهَآۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ ءَاذَانٞ يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَاۗ قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ شُرَكَآءَكُمۡ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلَا تُنظِرُونِ

195.Have they feet to walk with? Or have they hands with which to hold? Or have they eyes with which to see? Or have they ears with which to hear? Say: "Call upon your associates and then try your tricks on me and give me no respite" [450].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 195

Ayah 23

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ

23. They are those whom Allah has cursed and made them deaf to the truth and made their eyes blind [63].
