Versículo 41 de 88

وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ

Wa ja'alnaahum a'immatany yad'oona ilan Naari wa Yawmal Qiyaamati laa yunsaroon
41. E hicimos de ellos unos líderes que invitasen a los hombres al fuego. Y el Día de la Resurrección no serán auxiliados.

Versículo 42 de 88

وَأَتۡبَعۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعۡنَةٗۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَقۡبُوحِينَ

Wa atba'naahum fee haazihid dunyaa la'natanw wa Yawmal Qiyaamati hum minal maqbooheen (section 4)
42. Y los expulsamos de Nuestra misericordia en esta vida, y el Día de la Resurrección estarán entre los humillados (y alejados de Nuestra gracia).

Versículo 43 de 88

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ بَصَآئِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Wa laqad aatainaa Moosal Kitaaba mim ba'di maaa ahlaknal quroonal oolaa basaaa'ira linnaasi wa hudanw wa rahmatal la'allahum yata zakkkaroon
43. Y concedimos a Moisés el Libro (la Torá) después de haber destruido las generaciones anteriores[749], para que fuera una luz, una guía y misericordia para que (los hombres) reflexionaran.

Versículo 44 de 88

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلۡغَرۡبِيِّ إِذۡ قَضَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَمۡرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

Wa maa kunta bijaanibil gharbiyyi iz qadainaaa ilaa Moosal amra wa maa kunta minash shaahideen
44. Y no estuviste en la ladera oeste (del monte) cuando encomendamos a Moisés su misión (¡oh, Muhammad!) ni fuiste testigo de ello,

Versículo 45 de 88

وَلَٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَا قُرُونٗا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيٗا فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ تَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ

Wa laakinnaa anshaanaa quroonan fatataawala 'alaihimul 'umur; wa maa kunta saawiyan feee ahli Madyana tatloo 'alaihim Aayaatinaa wa laakinnaa kunnaa mursileen
45. sino que (te lo revelamos como evidencia contra) las generaciones (posteriores a Moisés) que creamos y vivieron muchos años (y olvidaron los mandatos de Al-lah). Ytampoco viviste entre los habitantes de Madián recitándoles Nuestras aleyas, sino que te revelamos lo que sucedió.

Versículo 46 de 88

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ إِذۡ نَادَيۡنَا وَلَٰكِن رَّحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Wa maa kunta bijaanibit Toori iz naadainaa wa laakir rahmatam mir Rabbika litunzira qawmam maaa ataahum min nazeerim min qablika la'allahum yatazakkaroon
46. Y no estuviste en la ladera de la montaña cuando llamamos (a Moisés y no pudiste saber lo que sucedió) sino (que te lo hemos revelado) y te hemos enviado como misericordia de tu Señor para que exhortes a un pueblo que no había recibido con anterioridad ningún mensajero y reflexionen;

Versículo 47 de 88

وَلَوۡلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ فَيَقُولُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَآ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَيۡنَا رَسُولٗا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Wa law laaa an tuseebahum museebatum bimaa qaddamat aideehim fa yaqooloo Rabbanaa law laaa arsalta ilainaa Rasoolan fanattabi'a Aayaatika wa nakoona minal mu'mineen
47. y para que no digan, tras sufrir un castigo por las (malas) acciones que ellos mismos han realizado: «¡Señor!, ¿por qué no nos enviaste un mensajero para que pudiéramos seguir Tu mensaje y ser de los creyentes?».

Versículo 48 de 88

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ عِندِنَا قَالُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُوتِيَ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفُرُواْ بِمَآ أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبۡلُۖ قَالُواْ سِحۡرَانِ تَظَٰهَرَا وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِكُلّٖ كَٰفِرُونَ

Falammaa jaaa'ahumul haqqu min 'indinaa qaaloo law laa ootiya misla maaa ootiyaa Moosaa; awalam yakfuroo bimaaa ootiya Moosaa min qablu qaaloo sihraani tazaaharaa wa qaalooo innaa bikullin kaafiroon
48. No obstante, cuando les llega la verdad procedente de Nos (el profeta Muhammad), (los idólatras de La Meca) dicen: «¿Por qué no hemos recibido (algunos milagros o un libro revelado de una sola vez) como recibió Moisés?»[750].¿Acaso no negaron (los judíos) con anterioridad lo que Moisés recibió? Dicen (los idólatras): «Ambos (libros: el Corán y la Torá) no son sino (dos muestras de) brujería que se apoyan mutuamente», y dicen: «No creemos en ninguna de las dos revelaciones».

Versículo 49 de 88

قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبٖ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمَآ أَتَّبِعۡهُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Qul faatoo bi Kitaabim min 'indil laahi huwa ahdaa minhu maaa attabi'hu in kuntum saadiqeen
49. Diles (¡oh, Muhammad!): «Traed un libro procedente de Al-lah que sea una mejor guía que los mencionados para que pueda seguirlo, si sois veraces».

Versículo 50 de 88

فَإِن لَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَكَ فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَمَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيۡرِ هُدٗى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Fa il lam yastajeeboo laka fa'lam annamaa yattabi'oona ahwaaa'ahum; wa man adallu mimmanit taba'a hawaahu bighari hudam minal laah; innal laaha laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen (section 5)
50. Y si no te contestan, debes saber que solo siguen sus pasiones.Y, ¿quién está más extraviado que quien sigue sus deseos sin ninguna guía de Al-lah? Ciertamente, Al-lah no guía a los injustos (que rechazan la verdad).
