وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ

Wa fee 'Aadin iz arsalnaa 'alaihimur reehal'aqeem
இன்னும், ஆது சமுதாயத்தி(ன் சரித்திரத்தி)லும் - அவர்கள் மீது நாம் மலட்டுக் காற்றை (-எவ்வித நன்மையுமில்லாத, அழிவை ஏற்படுத்தும் காற்றை) அனுப்பியபோது - பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ

Maa tazaru min shai'in atat 'alaihi illaa ja'alat hu karrameem
அ(ந்த காற்றான)து எதன் மீது (கடந்து) செல்கிறதோ அதை பழைய மக்கிப்போன பொருளைப் போன்று ஆக்காமல் விட்டுவிடாது.

وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذۡ قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَمَتَّعُواْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ

Wa fee Samooda iz qeela lahum tamatta''oo hattaa heen
இன்னும், ஸமூது சமுதாயத்தி(ன் சரித்திரத்தி)லும் - சிறிது காலம் வரை சுகமாக இருங்கள் என்று அவர்களுக்கு சொல்லப்பட்டபோது - பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

வசனம் 44 இல் 60

فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

Fa'ataw 'an amri Rabbihim fa akhazat humus saa'iqatu wa hum yanzuroon
ஆக, அவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனின் கட்டளையை ஏற்காமல் பெருமை அடித்(து மாறு செய்)தனர். ஆக, அவர்களை இடிமுழக்கம் பிடித்தது. அவர்களோ (அந்த தண்டனையை) எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ

Famas tataa'oo min qiyaaminw wa maa kaanoo muntasireen
ஆக, (அல்லாஹ்வின் தண்டனைக்கு முன் எதிர்த்து) நிற்பதற்கு அவர்கள் ஆற்றல் பெறவில்லை. அவர்கள் (நம்மிடம்) பழிதீர்ப்பவர்களாகவும் இருக்கவில்லை.

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ

Wa qawma Noohim min qablu innahum kaano qawman faasiqeen
இன்னும், இதற்கு முன்னர் நூஹுடைய மக்களையும் தண்டனை பிடித்தது. நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பாவிகளான மக்களாக இருந்தனர்.

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا بِأَيۡيْدٖ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ

Wassamaaa'a banainaa haa bi aydinw wa innaa lamoosi'oon
வானத்தை - அதை (நமது மிகப் பெரிய) சக்தியினால் (முகடாக) - நாம் உயர்த்தினோம். இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக நாம் (அவ்வாறு செய்வதற்கு) மிகவும் வசதி படைத்தவர்கள் ஆவோம்.

இன்னும், ஒவ்வொன்றிலும் இரண்டு ஜோடிகளை படைத்தோம், நீங்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வின் படைப்புகளை சிந்தித்து) நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவதற்காக.

ஆக, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் விரண்டு ஓடுங்கள்! நிச்சயமாக நான் அவனிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு தெளிவான எச்சரிப்பாளர் ஆவேன்.
