Wassaqfil marfoo'

5. And by the elevated canopy [4] (of Heaven)

[4] The Elevated Canopy

By this is meant either the heavens, which serve as the canopy or roof of this world, or the Arsh, which is the roof of Paradise.
The mentioning of the roof with the house is quite appropriate (Tafseer Khazain and Roohul Mu'ani).
