Surah Al-Muminun

English Translation, Transliteration, Tafsir - Ayat [81-90]
 
Ayah 81 of 10

بَلۡ قَالُواْ مِثۡلَ مَا قَالَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

Bal qaaloo misla maa qaalal awwaloon
81. Nay, but they said what the former used to say.
Ayah 82 of 10

قَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

Qaalooo 'a-izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaabanw wa 'izaaman 'a-innaa lamab 'oosoon
82. They said, 'What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we Indeed be raised up again? [118]
Ayah 83 of 10

لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Laqad wu'idnaa nahnu wa aabaaa'unaa haazaa min qablu in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen
83. Indeed, this was promised to us and before us [119] to our forefathers. This is not the same as former fables.
Ayah 84 of 10

قُل لِّمَنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِيهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

Qul limanil ardu wa man feehaaa in kuntum ta'lamoon
84. Say you; 'whose is the earth and whatever is in it if you know.'
Ayah 85 of 10

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Sa-yaqooloona lillaah; qul afalaa tazakkkaroon
85. Now they will say, "to Allah" [120]. Say, 'Do you not ponder' [121].
Ayah 86 of 10

قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلسَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Qul mar Rabbus samaawaatis sab'i wa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Azeem
86. Say, 'Who is the Lord of the seven Heavens and the Lord of the Throne.'
Ayah 87 of 10

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Sa yaqooloona lillaah; qul afalaa tattaqoon
87. Now they will say, 'This is the Grandeur of Allah.' Say, 'Why do you not fear then?'
Ayah 88 of 10

قُلۡ مَنۢ بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيۡهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

Qul mam bi yadihee malakootu kulli shai'inw wa Huwa yujeeru wa laa yujaaru 'alaihi in kuntum ta'lamoon
88. Say, 'In Whose hand is the control of everything [122] and He gives refuge and none can give refuge against Him, if you have knowledge?[123],
Ayah 89 of 10

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسۡحَرُونَ

Sa yaqooloona lillaah; qul fa annaa tus haroon
89. Now they will say, 'This is the Grandeur of Allah.' Say, 'In what delusion are you lying?' [124]
Ayah 90 of 10

بَلۡ أَتَيۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Bal atainaahum bil haqqi wa innahum lakaaziboon
90. Nay, but We have brought them the truth, and indeed, they are liars [125]
