The summary/theme of the Surah Sad : 

As the Surah begins, the aforementioned meeting is reviewed. Allah says that the actual reason behind the denial by those people is not their own arrogance, jealousy, and insistence on following the blind, but their own arrogance, jealousy, and insistence on following the blind based on the dialogue between the Holy Prophet and the disbelievers.

Lesson learned from Surah Sad : 

  1. Many partners in business do injustice to each other; except those who truly believe and do good.  
  2. Allah's tested His Prophets عليهم السلام, tests that they passed. We should also be ever ready to be tested by Allah's.  
  3. The sustenance of Jannah will never become exhausted.  
  4. The people of Jahannam will turn on one another, blaming each other for their doom.  
  5. They will also look around to see where the people they assumed to be ‘evil’ were in Jahannam, whereas those were the very people who were on the truth, and they would have been given entry into Jannah.  
  6. Never think you’re superior to anyone else.  
  7. Allah's is never overcome with emotions such as anger etc. Therefore, never think Allah's is angry with you so He will not accept your du‘'.  
  8. Shayṭ'n promised that he shall try to lead each and every human astray.

বরং কাফির অহঙ্কার ও বিরোধিতার মধ্যে রয়েছে।

Kam ahlaknaa min qablihim min qarnin fanaadaw wa laata heena manaas
আমি তাদের পূর্বে কতো জনগোষ্ঠীকে ধ্বংস করেছি; অতঃপর তারা ফরিয়াদ করেছে এবং তখন পরিত্রাণের সময় ছিলো না।

وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ

Wa 'ajibooo an jaaa'a hum munzirum minhum wa qaalal kaafiroona haazaa saahirun kazzaab
এবং তারা এ কথায় বিস্ময়বোধ করেছে যে, তাদের নিকট তাদেরই মধ্য থেকে এক সতর্ককারী তাশরীফ এনেছেন এবং কাফিরগণ বললো, ‘এ’তো যাদুকর, বড় মিথ্যাবাদী।

Aja'alal aalihata Ilaahanw Waahidan inna haazaa lashai'un 'ujaab
সে কি বহু খোদাকে একটি খোদা করে দিলো? নিশ্চয় এটা এক আশ্চর্যজনক ব্যাপার’।

আয়াত 6 এর মধ্যে 10

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ

Wantalaqal mala-u minhum anim shoo wasbiroo 'alaaa aalihatikum innna haazaa lashai 'uny yuraad
এবং তাদের মধ্য থেকে সরদারগণ চলে গেলো, ‘তার নিকট থেকে চলে যাও! এবং তোমাদের উপাস্যগুলোর (বিশ্বাসের) উপর অটল থাকো! নিশ্চয় তাতে তার কোন উদ্দেশ্য আছে’।

Maa sami'naa bihaazaa fil millatil aakhirati in haazaaa illakh tilaaq
এ কথা তো আমরা সর্বাপেক্ষা পরবর্তী দ্বীন খ্রীষ্টান ধর্মেও শুনি নি। এ‘তো নিরেট নতুন মনগড়া উক্তি।

أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ

আমাদের সবার মধ্যে থেকে কি শুধু তার উপর ক্বোরআন অবতীর্ণ হলো? বরং তারা সন্দিহান আমার কিতাব সম্পর্কে, বরং এখনো আমার শাস্তির স্বাদ গ্রহণ করে নি।

أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡبَٰبِ

Am lahum mulkus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa falyartaqoo fil asbaab
তাদের জন্য কি আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের রাজত্ব রয়েছে এবং যা কিছু দু’টির মধ্যখানে রয়েছে (তারও) থাকলে, রজ্জু সমূহ লটকিয়ে আরোহণ করুক!
