Ayah 4

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ

4. "And from the evil of those women who blow on the knots [5]."

Surah Name : Al-Falaq   Surah Number : 113   Ayat Number: 4

Ayah 69

وَأَلۡقِ مَا فِي يَمِينِكَ تَلۡقَفۡ مَا صَنَعُوٓاْۖ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُواْ كَيۡدُ سَٰحِرٖۖ وَلَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيۡثُ أَتَىٰ

69. And cast down what is in your right hand, it will swallow [85] their makings. That which they have made is the trick of the magician, and the magician does not prosper, anywhere he comes.

Ayah 70

فَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدٗا قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ

70. Then all the magicians were made to prostrate [86] they said, ' We believe in him who is the Lord of Musa and Harun'. [87]

Ayah 109

قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٞ

109.The chiefs of the people of Firaun said: "Indeed, this is a skilled magician" [246].

Ayah 112

يَأۡتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٖ

112. To bring you every skilled magician [248].

Ayah 113

وَجَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ

113. And the magicians came to Firaun and said: "Indeed, we shall have a reward if we are the victors" [249].

Ayah 120

وَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ

120. And the magicians fell down prostrate [254].

Ayah 34

قَالَ لِلۡمَلَإِ حَوۡلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٞ

34. (Firawn) said to the chiefs, "Indeed, he is a magician learned" [43].

Ayah 37

يَأۡتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٖ

37. That they may bring to you every big magician learned [45].

Ayah 38

فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَٰتِ يَوۡمٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ

38. So the magicians were assembled together at a fixed time on an appointed day [46].

Ayah 40

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ

40. Perhaps we may follow [47] these magicians if they overcome [48].

Ayah 41

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُواْ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ

41. Then when the magicians came, they said to Pharaoh [Firaun], "Will we receive a reward if we are the victors?"

Ayah 47

قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

47. The magicians said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds."

Ayah 4

وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ

4. And they were surprised that a warner[6] has come to them from among themselves, and the infidels said: "This is a magician and a great liar [7]".

Ayah 77

قَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمۡۖ أَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَا وَلَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلسَّـٰحِرُونَ

77. Musa said, 'Do you say such with regard to the truth when it came to you? Is this magic? And magicians do not attain these goals [211].'

Ayah 79

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱئۡتُونِي بِكُلِّ سَٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٖ

79. And Pharaoh said, 'Bring to me every skilled magician [214].'

Ayah 80

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلۡقُواْ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلۡقُونَ

80. Then when the magicians came, Musa said to them, 'Cast down whatever you are going to cast [215].'

Ayah 24

إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَقَٰرُونَ فَقَالُواْ سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٞ

24. To the Pharaoh and Hamaan and Qarun. But they said: "He is a magician, a liar [59]"

Ayah 52

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ

52.In the same way, whenever any Messenger came to those before them, they only said: "A magician [60], or a madman."

Ayah 39

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٞ

39.But, he (Pharaoh) turned away with his forces (43) and said: "A magician or a madman (44) (is Musa)."
