Verset 131 sur 176

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّيۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَإِيَّاكُمۡ أَنِ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ وَإِن تَكۡفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدٗا

Wa lillaahi maafis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa laqad wassainal lazeena ootul Kitaaba min qablikum wa iyyaakum anit taqul laah; wa intakfuroo fa inna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kaanal laahu Ghaniyyan hameedaa
131. À Allah appartient tout ce qu’il y a dans les cieux et sur terre. Nous avons recommandé à ceux qui ont reçu le Livre avant vous, ainsi qu’à vous-mêmes : « Craignez Allah ! » Et si vous mécroyez, (sachez qu’) à Allah appartient ce qu’il y a dans les cieux et sur terre. Allah se passe de Tout et il est Digne de Toutes Louanges.

Verset 132 sur 176

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

Wa lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa
132. À Allah appartient ce qu’il y a dans les cieux et sur terre, et Allah suffit comme Protecteur.

Verset 133 sur 176

إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَيَأۡتِ بِـَٔاخَرِينَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرٗا

Iny-yasha' yuzhibkum aiyuhan naasu wa ya'ti bi aakhareen; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa zaalika Qadeeraa
133. S’Il voulait, Il vous réduirait à néant, ô hommes, et Il en ferait venir d’autres ! Car Allah est, de cela, Infiniment Capable.

Verset 134 sur 176

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ ثَوَابُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرٗا

man kaana yureedu sawaabad dunyaa fa'indallaahi sawaabud dunyaa wal Aakhirah; wa kaanal laahu Samee'am Baseeraa
134. Et quiconque veut la récompense de ce bas monde, (qu’il sache que) c’est auprès d’Allah que se trouvent et la récompense de ce monde et celle de l’autre. Et Allah Entend Tout et Voit Tout.

Verset 135 sur 176

۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّـٰمِينَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ شُهَدَآءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَوِ ٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَۚ إِن يَكُنۡ غَنِيًّا أَوۡ فَقِيرٗا فَٱللَّهُ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهِمَاۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ أَن تَعۡدِلُواْۚ وَإِن تَلۡوُۥٓاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٗا

Yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo koonoo qawwa ameena bilqisti shuhadaaa'a lillaahi wa law 'alaa anfusikum awil waalidaini wal aqrabeen iny yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran fallaahu awlaa bihimaa falaaa tattabi'ul hawaaa an ta'diloo; wa in talwooo aw tu'ridoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeera
135. Ô vous qui avez cru ! Soyez justes en étant témoins conformément (aux prescriptions) d’Allah, quitte à témoigner contre vous-mêmes, contre vos deux parents ou vos proches, qu’il s’agisse d’un riche ou d’un pauvre, car Allah est plus apte à (veiller à leurs intérêts). Ne suivez donc pas vos passions de peur que vous ne déviiez de l’équité. Et si vous témoignez par le mensonge ou refusez de témoigner, alors Allah est, de Tout ce que vous faites, Informé.

Verset 136 sur 176

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلَۢا بَعِيدًا

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo aaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazee nazzala 'alaa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazeee anzala min qabl; wa mai yakfur billaahi wa Malaaa'ikatihee wa Kutubihee wa Rusulihee wal Yawmil Aakhiri faqad dalla dalaalam ba'eedaa
136. Ô vous qui avez cru ! Croyez en Allah, au Messager et au Livre qu’Il a révélé à Son Messager, et aux Écritures qui ont été révélées auparavant. Et celui qui mécroit en Allah, en Ses Anges, Ses Livres, Ses Messagers et au Jour Dernier, s’est égaré et est allé très loin dans l’égarement.

Verset 137 sur 176

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ ٱزۡدَادُواْ كُفۡرٗا لَّمۡ يَكُنِ ٱللَّهُ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِيَهۡدِيَهُمۡ سَبِيلَۢا

Innal lazeena aamanoo summa kafaroo summa aamanoo summa kafaroo summaz daado kufral lam yakunil laahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum sabeelaa
137. Ceux qui ont cru puis ont mécru, et ont cru puis ont mécru, puis ont gagné en mécréance, jamais Allah ne leur pardonnera, ni ne les guidera vers un chemin droit.

بَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

Bashshiril munaafiqeena bi anna lahum 'azaaban aleemaa
138. Annonce aux hypocrites qu’il y aura pour eux un très douloureux supplice,

Verset 139 sur 176

ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ أَيَبۡتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعٗا

Allazeena yattakhizoo nal kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; a-yabta ghoona 'indahumul 'izzata fainnnal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa
139. ceux-là qui prennent des mécréants pour alliés, et non pas des croyants. Recherchent-ils donc auprès d’eux la puissance ? N’est-ce pas que la Puissance appartient Toute à Allah !

Verset 140 sur 176

وَقَدۡ نَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أَنۡ إِذَا سَمِعۡتُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يُكۡفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسۡتَهۡزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقۡعُدُواْ مَعَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا مِّثۡلُهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ جَامِعُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا

Wa qad nazzala 'alaikum fil Kitaabi an izaa sami'tum Aayaatil laahi yukfaru bihaa wa yustahza u bihaa falaa taq'udoo ma'ahum hattaa yakhoodoo fee hadeesin ghairih; innakum izam misluhum; innal laaha jaami'ul munaafiqeena wal kaafireena fee jahannama jamee'aa
140. Voici ce qu’Il vous a déjà révélé dans le Livre : quand vous entendez renier et moquer les versets d’Allah, ne vous asseyez pas avec (ceux qui agissent de la sorte), à moins qu’ils ne se mettent à parler d’autre chose. Autrement, vous seriez à eux semblables. En vérité, Allah réunira tous ensemble dans la Géhenne les hypocrites et les mécréants.

This sûrah mainly describes about the rights of women (as its name implies), the law of inheritance, orphan care, lawful and unlawful marriage partners, and a demonstration of justice in verses 105-112. Later on, it transitions to cover striving for AllÄh's cause as well as relations between Muslims and People of the Book; it culminates with a response to claims about Jesus's ( ï·º ) crucifixion and divinity. This sûrah joins its predecessors and successors by bringing up the topic of hypocrisy – a recurring theme in many.
