Verset 101 sur 176

وَإِذَا ضَرَبۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَقۡصُرُواْ مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ إِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَن يَفۡتِنَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كَانُواْ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا مُّبِينٗا

Wa izaa darabtum fil ardi falaisa 'alaikum junaahun an taqsuroo minas Salaati in khiftum ai yaftinakumul lazeena kafarooo; innal kaafireena kaanoo lakum aduwwam mubeenaa
101. Lorsque vous parcourez la terre, il ne vous sera pas fait grief de raccourcir la Çalât, si vous craignez d’être défiés par ceux qui ont mécru. Les mécréants, en effet, sont pour vous un ennemi avéré.

Verset 102 sur 176

وَإِذَا كُنتَ فِيهِمۡ فَأَقَمۡتَ لَهُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَلۡتَقُمۡ طَآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡهُم مَّعَكَ وَلۡيَأۡخُذُوٓاْ أَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۖ فَإِذَا سَجَدُواْ فَلۡيَكُونُواْ مِن وَرَآئِكُمۡ وَلۡتَأۡتِ طَآئِفَةٌ أُخۡرَىٰ لَمۡ يُصَلُّواْ فَلۡيُصَلُّواْ مَعَكَ وَلۡيَأۡخُذُواْ حِذۡرَهُمۡ وَأَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۗ وَدَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ تَغۡفُلُونَ عَنۡ أَسۡلِحَتِكُمۡ وَأَمۡتِعَتِكُمۡ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيۡكُم مَّيۡلَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِن كَانَ بِكُمۡ أَذٗى مِّن مَّطَرٍ أَوۡ كُنتُم مَّرۡضَىٰٓ أَن تَضَعُوٓاْ أَسۡلِحَتَكُمۡۖ وَخُذُواْ حِذۡرَكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٗا مُّهِينٗا

Wa izaa kunta feehim fa aqamta lahumus Salaata faltaqum taaa'ifatum minhum ma'aka wal ya'khuzoo aslihatahum fa izaa sajadoo fal yakoonoo minw waraaa'ikum wal ta'ti taaa'ifatun ukhraa lam yusalloo falyusallo ma'aka wal ya'khuzoo hizrahum wa aslihatahum; waddal lazeena kafaroo law taghfuloona 'anaslihatikum wa amti'atikum fa yameeloona 'alaikum mailatanw waahidah; wa laa junaaha 'alaikum in kaana bikum azam mimmatarin aw kuntum mardaaa an tada'ooo aslihatakum wa khuzoo hizrakum; innal laaha a'adda lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa
102. Et lorsque tu es parmi (tes troupes) et que tu dois les diriger dans l’accomplissement de la Çalât, que certains se tiennent debout à tes côtés en tenant leurs armes. Leur prosternation achevée, ils devront passer derrière vous pour que viennent d’autres qui n’ont pas encore accompli la Çalât. Qu’ils l’accomplissent avec toi en restant vigilants et en tenant leurs armes. Les mécréants aimeraient tant vous voir distraits au point d’en oublier vos armes et vos bagages. Ils vous tomberaient alors dessus d’un seul coup. Il ne vous sera pas fait grief si, gênés par la pluie ou souffrants, vous déposez vos armes. Mais restez toujours vigilants. Allah a préparé aux mécréants un supplice humiliant.

Verset 103 sur 176

فَإِذَا قَضَيۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ فَإِذَا ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ كِتَٰبٗا مَّوۡقُوتٗا

Fa izaa qadaitumus Salaata fazkurul laaha qiyaamanw wa qu'oodanw wa 'alaa junoobikum; fa izatma'nantum fa aqeemus Salaah; innas Salaata kaanat 'alal mu'mineena kitaabam mawqootaa
103. Lorsque vous aurez accompli la Çalât, invoquez Allah, debout, assis ou étendus sur le côté. Une fois la sécurité retrouvée, accomplissez la Çalât (d’une façon normale), car la Çalât est pour les croyants une prescription déterminée dans le temps.

Verset 104 sur 176

وَلَا تَهِنُواْ فِي ٱبۡتِغَآءِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِۖ إِن تَكُونُواْ تَأۡلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَأۡلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأۡلَمُونَۖ وَتَرۡجُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرۡجُونَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

Wa laa tahinoo fibtighaaa'il qawmi in takoonoo ta'lamoona fa innahum ya'lamoona kamaa ta'lamoona wa tarjoona minal laahi maa laa yarjoon; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa
104. Ne lâchez pas pied en affrontant les ennemis. Car si vous souffrez, ils souffrent comme vous. Mais vous espérez d’Allah ce que, quant à eux, ils ne sauraient espérer. Allah est Omniscient et Sage !

Verset 105 sur 176

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآئِنِينَ خَصِيمٗا

Innaaa anzalnaaa ilaikal Kitaaba bilhaqqi litahkuma bainan naasi bimaaa araakal laah; wa laa takul lilkhaaa'ineena khaseemaa
105. Nous avons fait descendre (en révélation) vers toi le Livre de la vérité pour que tu juges entre les hommes par (les enseignements) qu’Allah t’a révélés. Ne sois donc pas le défenseur des traîtres.

Verset 106 sur 176

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

Wastaghfiril laaha innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema
106. Et implore pour toi le pardon d’Allah, car Allah est Absoluteur et Tout Miséricordieux.

Verset 107 sur 176

وَلَا تُجَٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمٗا

Wa laa tujaadil 'anil lazeena yakhtaanoona anfusahum; innal laaha laa yuhibbuman kaana khawwaanan aseemaa
107. Et n’argumente pas en faveur de ceux qui se trahissent eux-mêmes. Allah n’aime pas le traître déterminé et le pécheur obstiné.[151]

Verset 108 sur 176

يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمۡ إِذۡ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرۡضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا

Yastakhfoona minannaasi wa laa yastakh foona minal laahi wa huwa ma'ahum iz yubaiyitoona maa laa yardaa minal qawl; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ya'maloona muheetaa
108. Ils font tout pour se cacher des hommes mais ne font rien pour se cacher d’Allah. Il est pourtant avec eux quand, la nuit, ils tiennent des propos qu’Il n’agrée pas. Allah, (par Son savoir), Cerne ce qu’ils font.

Verset 109 sur 176

هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ جَٰدَلۡتُمۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فَمَن يُجَٰدِلُ ٱللَّهَ عَنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَكِيلٗا

Haaa antum haaa'ulaaa'i jaadaltum 'anhum fil hayaatid dunyaa famai yujaadilul laaha 'anhum Yawmal Qiyaamati am mai yakoonu 'alaihim wakeelaa
109. Voilà donc que vous plaidez pour eux dans ce bas monde. Mais alors qui plaidera pour eux au Jour de la Résurrection ? Et qui sera leur défenseur ?

Verset 110 sur 176

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ يَظۡلِمۡ نَفۡسَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَ يَجِدِ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

Wa mai ya'mal sooo'an aw yazlim nafsahoo summa yastaghfiril laaha yajidil laaha Ghafoorar Raheemaa
110. Celui qui commet un méfait ou se lèse lui-même, puis implore le pardon, trouvera qu’Allah est Absoluteur et Tout Miséricordieux.

This sûrah mainly describes about the rights of women (as its name implies), the law of inheritance, orphan care, lawful and unlawful marriage partners, and a demonstration of justice in verses 105-112. Later on, it transitions to cover striving for AllÄh's cause as well as relations between Muslims and People of the Book; it culminates with a response to claims about Jesus's ( ï·º ) crucifixion and divinity. This sûrah joins its predecessors and successors by bringing up the topic of hypocrisy – a recurring theme in many.
