The summary/theme of the Surah As-sajdah: 

At the beginning of the Prophet's residence at Makkah, this Surah was revealed. Al-Qur'an is beyond all doubt and is sent to warn those to whom no Warner has yet appeared. Disbelievers will believe on the Day of Judgement, but this belief will serve them no purpose.

Lesson learned from Surah As-sajdah: 

  1. The blessings that lie in wait for us in Jannah are unimaginable.  
  2. The people of Jahannam will want to escape it, but each time they get close they will be thrown back into it.  
  3. A true believer and a transgressor can never be the same.  
  4. The one who is reminded of the Ayat of Allah's and then turns away from them is one of the biggest oppressors.

Verset 2 sur 10

تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Tanzeelul Kitaabi laa raiba feehi mir rabbil 'aalameen
2. La révélation du Livre à propos duquel il n’y a nul doute vient du Seigneur de l’Univers.

Verset 3 sur 10

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ

Am yaqooloonaf taraahu bal huwal haqqu mir rabbika litunzira qawma maaa ataahum min nazeerim min qablika la'allahum yahtadoon
3. Ou alors disent-ils c’est lui[401] qui l’a inventé ? Non, c’est plutôt la vérité procédant de ton Seigneur, pour que tu avertisses un peuple qu’avant toi personne n’avait averti afin qu’ils soient bien guidés.

Verset 4 sur 10

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا شَفِيعٍۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaa fee sittati ayyaamin thummas tawaa 'alal 'arsh; maa lakum min doonihee minw-waliyyinw-wala shafee'; afalaa tatazakkaroon
4. Allah est Celui Qui, en six jours, a créé les cieux, la terre et ce qu’il y a entre eux. Puis Il S’est établi avec une infinie Majesté (istawâ) sur le Trône. En dehors de Lui, vous n’avez ni protecteur ni intercesseur. N’allez-vous donc pas y réfléchir ?

Verset 5 sur 10

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

Yudabbirul amra minas samaaa'i ilal ardi thumma ya'ruju ilaihi fee yawmin kaana miqdaaruhooo alfa sanatim mimmaa ta'uddoon
5. Il gère toutes les affaires, depuis le ciel jusqu’à la terre. Puis tout remonte vers Lui en un jour dont la durée équivaut à mille ans selon vos calculs.

Verset 6 sur 10

ذَٰلِكَ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Zaalika 'aalimul ghaybi wa shahaadatil 'azeezur raheem
6. C’est Lui Qui Connaît aussi bien les choses insondables que les choses observables. Il est le Tout-Puissant, le Tout Miséricordieux,

Verset 7 sur 10

ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡسَنَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلۡقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٖ

Allazee ahsana kulla shai in khalaqa; wa bada a khalqal insaani min teen
7. Qui a parfaitement modelé tout ce qu’Il a créé, et Qui a initié la création de l’homme à partir de l’argile.

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسۡلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٖ مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ

8. Puis Il a extrait sa descendance à partir d’un vulgaire liquide,

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

Thumma sawwaahu wa nafakha feehi mir roohihih; wa ja'ala lakumus sam'a wal-absaara wal-af'idah; qaleelam maa tashkuroon
9. l’a modelée en sa forme définitive et lui a insufflé de Son esprit. Il vous a donné l’ouïe, les yeux et la raison.[402] Mais vous n’êtes guère reconnaissants !

Verset 10 sur 10

وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا ضَلَلۡنَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدِۭۚ بَلۡ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

Wa qaalooo 'a-izaa dalalnaa fil ardi 'a-innaa lafee khalqin jadeed; bal hum biliqaaa'i rabbihim kaafiroon
10. Ils disent : « Une fois ensevelis sous terre, renaîtrons-nous vraiment à une nouvelle création ? » Mais ils mécroient en la rencontre de leur Seigneur.
