Ayah 19

أَوۡ كَصَيِّبٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَٰتٞ وَرَعۡدٞ وَبَرۡقٞ يَجۡعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۚ وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطُۢ بِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

19. Or like a heavy rainstorm from the sky, wherein there is darkness [35], thunder, and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears because of the thunderclaps, in fear of death. And Allah encompasses the disbelievers [36].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 19

Ayah 79

فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكۡتُبُونَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَٰذَا مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ لِيَشۡتَرُواْ بِهِۦ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗاۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَوَيۡلٞ لَّهُم مِّمَّا يَكۡسِبُونَ

79. So woe to those who write out the Book (Scripture) with their own hands and then say: "This is from Allah" [140], so that they may gain [141] therewith. So woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn [142].

Ayah 23

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

23. Say, "It is He Who created you and made for you the ears, the eyes, and the hearts [47]. Little is it that you give thanks [48]."

Surah Name : Al-Mulk   Surah Number : 67   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 78

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

78. And it is He who made for you ears and eyes and a heart [113]. Very little you are grateful [114].

Ayah 100

لَعَلِّيٓ أَعۡمَلُ صَٰلِحٗا فِيمَا تَرَكۡتُۚ كَلَّآۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآئِلُهَاۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِم بَرۡزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

100. Perhaps, now I may earn some good in that what I have left behind [137]. Never, this is only a word that he utters [138]. And in front of them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised (139),

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 100

Ayah 43

وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ سَبۡعَ بَقَرَٰتٖ سِمَانٖ يَأۡكُلُهُنَّ سَبۡعٌ عِجَافٞ وَسَبۡعَ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضۡرٖ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٖۖ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمَلَأُ أَفۡتُونِي فِي رُءۡيَٰيَ إِن كُنتُمۡ لِلرُّءۡيَا تَعۡبُرُونَ

43. And the King said, "I saw in a dream seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean cows, and seven green ears of corn and seven others dry [98]. O courtiers! Answer my dream if you know the interpretation of dreams [99]."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 43

Ayah 46

يُوسُفُ أَيُّهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقُ أَفۡتِنَا فِي سَبۡعِ بَقَرَٰتٖ سِمَانٖ يَأۡكُلُهُنَّ سَبۡعٌ عِجَافٞ وَسَبۡعِ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضۡرٖ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٖ لَّعَلِّيٓ أَرۡجِعُ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ

46. O Yusuf! O man of truth [102], give us the interpretation regarding seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green ears and seven others dry; perhaps I may return to the people, so that they may know [103].

Ayah 47

قَالَ تَزۡرَعُونَ سَبۡعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبٗا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمۡ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنۢبُلِهِۦٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ

47. He said, "You will cultivate for seven continuous years [104]. Then, what you harvest, leave it in its ear [105], except for a little that you may eat [106]."

Ayah 33

وَلۡيَسۡتَعۡفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغۡنِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبۡتَغُونَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡ فَكَاتِبُوهُمۡ إِنۡ عَلِمۡتُمۡ فِيهِمۡ خَيۡرٗاۖ وَءَاتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِيٓ ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۚ وَلَا تُكۡرِهُواْ فَتَيَٰتِكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡبِغَآءِ إِنۡ أَرَدۡنَ تَحَصُّنٗا لِّتَبۡتَغُواْ عَرَضَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَن يُكۡرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ إِكۡرَٰهِهِنَّ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

33. And let those who have no means to marry restrain themselves [80] until Allah provides them from His Bounty [81]. And from among your servants and handmaids, those who wish that you should write [82] for them freedom on the condition that they may earn some wealth, then write it for them if you know some good in them [83], and help them out of the wealth of Allah which He has given to you [84]. And force not your maids to prostitution when they desire to live in chastity in order that you may gain some goods of this worldly life [85]. And whoever forces them, then indeed, Allah, after their compulsion, is Forgiving, Merciful [86].

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 33

Ayah 108

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ

108. Those are the ones upon whose hearts and ears Allah has placed a seal [244], and their eyes are covered. It is they who are heedless.

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 108

Ayah 36

وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۚ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡبَصَرَ وَٱلۡفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنۡهُ مَسۡـُٔولٗا

36. And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge [85]. Indeed, the hearing, the sight [86], and the heart—each of those will be questioned [87].

Surah Name : Al-Isra   Surah Number : 17   Ayat Number: 36

Ayah 46

وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٗاۚ وَإِذَا ذَكَرۡتَ رَبَّكَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَلَّوۡاْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِمۡ نُفُورٗا

46. And We have put coverings over their hearts [101], lest they should understand it, and in their ears is heaviness [102]. And when you remember your Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs and run away hatefully [103].

Surah Name : Al-Isra   Surah Number : 17   Ayat Number: 46

Ayah 47

نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَسۡتَمِعُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِذۡ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِذۡ هُمۡ نَجۡوَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَقُولُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلٗا مَّسۡحُورًا

47. We know well how they listen when they put their ears towards you [104], and when they secretly confer, when the unjust say, "You follow none but a man who is bewitched" [105].

Surah Name : Al-Isra   Surah Number : 17   Ayat Number: 47

Ayah 7

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَأَنَّ فِيٓ أُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرٗاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

7.And when Our Verses are recited to him, he turns proudly away, as though he did not hear them, and as if there was heaviness [10] in his ears. Therefore give the news of a painful punishment.

Surah Name : Luqman   Surah Number : 31   Ayat Number: 7

Ayah 60

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبۡعَثُكُمۡ فِيهِ لِيُقۡضَىٰٓ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗىۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

60. And it is He Who takes away your souls at night [122] and knows whatever you earn by day. Then He raises you in the day so that the appointed may be completed. Then you have to return to Him. Then He will tell you what you used to do.

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 60

Ayah 46

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ سَمۡعَكُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرَكُمۡ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُم مَّنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِهِۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ ثُمَّ هُمۡ يَصۡدِفُونَ

46. Say, "Have you considered: if Allah were to take away your hearing and your sight and seal your hearts, who is there other than Allah that could restore them to you? [91] Look how We diversify the signs, yet they turn away." [92]

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 46

Ayah 25

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٗاۚ وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كُلَّ ءَايَةٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوكَ يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

25. And among them are some who listen to you [48], and We have put veils over their hearts so that they understand it not [49], and in their ears is heaviness. And if they may see all the signs, even then they will not believe [50] in them. In as much as they may come to you disputing, these infidels say: "These (verses) contain only stories of the past generations."

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 25

Ayah 45

وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيهَآ أَنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ وَٱلۡعَيۡنَ بِٱلۡعَيۡنِ وَٱلۡأَنفَ بِٱلۡأَنفِ وَٱلۡأُذُنَ بِٱلۡأُذُنِ وَٱلسِّنَّ بِٱلسِّنِّ وَٱلۡجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٞۚ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٞ لَّهُۥۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

45. And We (Allah) made obligatory upon them [143], in the Tauraat, a life for a life, and eye for an eye, and a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear and a tooth for a tooth. And in injuries, there is equitable retaliation [144]. Then whoso recompenses with a happy [145] heart, then that shall be expiation [146] for his sin. And whoso judges not according to what Allah has sent down [147], then they are persons unjust [148].

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 45

Ayah 61

وَمِنۡهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٞۚ قُلۡ أُذُنُ خَيۡرٖ لَّكُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَيُؤۡمِنُ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ,

61. And among them are those who trouble the Prophet and say, "He is an ear [168]." Say, "He is an ear of goodness [169] for you; he believes in Allah and believes [170] the words of the believers, and is a mercy [171] for those among you who believe." And those who trouble [172] the Messenger of Allah—for them is a painful punishment [173].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 61

Ayah 89

وَيَٰقَوۡمِ لَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شِقَاقِيٓ أَن يُصِيبَكُم مِّثۡلُ مَآ أَصَابَ قَوۡمَ نُوحٍ أَوۡ قَوۡمَ هُودٍ أَوۡ قَوۡمَ صَٰلِحٖۚ وَمَا قَوۡمُ لُوطٖ مِّنكُم بِبَعِيدٖ

89. And O my people! Let not your opposition to me cause you to suffer what befell the people of Nuh, or the people of Hud, or the people of Saleh. And the people of Lut are not far away from you [183].
