Ayah 46

أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبٞ يَعۡقِلُونَ بِهَآ أَوۡ ءَاذَانٞ يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَاۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعۡمَى ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَلَٰكِن تَعۡمَى ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ

46. Have they not traveled in the land [102] that they should have hearts with which to understand or ears with which to hear? [103] Certainly it is not the eyes that become blind but the hearts (104) which are in the breasts.

Ayah 9

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

9.Then He completed him and breathed [18] into him of His spirit, and gave to you ears and eyes and hearts [19]. What a little gratitude you acknowledge?

Ayah 26

وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِيمَآ إِن مَّكَّنَّـٰكُمۡ فِيهِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ سَمۡعٗا وَأَبۡصَٰرٗا وَأَفۡـِٔدَةٗ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَفۡـِٔدَتُهُم مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِذۡ كَانُواْ يَجۡحَدُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

26. And indeed. We had given them the control [73] that We did not give to you; and We bestowed upon them ears and eyes and hearts [74]. But neither their ears nor their eyes or their hearts availed (75) them anything. as they denied the Verses of Allah. So, they were encircled (by the punishment) that they used to mock(76) at.

Surah Name : Al-Ahqaf   Surah Number : 46   Ayat Number: 26

Ayah 12

لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞ

12.That We make it a reminder [12] to you, and that the retaining ears may preserve it [13].

Ayah 7

وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا

7. "And whenever I called them to seek Your forgiveness [12], they put their fingers in their ears [13], covered themselves with their garments [14], persisted, and became arrogant [15]."

Surah Name : Nuh   Surah Number : 71   Ayat Number: 7

Ayah 37

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٞ

37. Surely, there is admonition in it for such a person who has a heart or who gives an ear and is attentive [63].

Ayah 23

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٖ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِۦ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةٗ فَمَن يَهۡدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱللَّهِۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

23.Have you seen him who has made his desire [47] to be his god, but Allah leaves him to go on the wrong[48] way despite his knowledge, and sets a seal upon his ears and his heart, and lays covering (49) on the eyes. Who would guide them except Allah? Do you not then heed (50)?

Surah Name : Al-Jathiyah   Surah Number : 45   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 5

وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا فِيٓ أَكِنَّةٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِنَا وَقۡرٞ وَمِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا وَبَيۡنِكَ حِجَابٞ فَٱعۡمَلۡ إِنَّنَا عَٰمِلُونَ

5. And they say: "Our hearts are in covers from that to which you invite [6] us, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and you there is a veil [7]. So, you do your deed and we do our (8) deeds".

Ayah 20

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا مَا جَآءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

20.Till when they reach there, whence their ears and their eyes and their skins will bear witness [53] against their doings.

Ayah 22

وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشۡهَدَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ سَمۡعُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَبۡصَٰرُكُمۡ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن ظَنَنتُمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَعۡلَمُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

22. And how could you veil [57] Yourselves that your ears and your yes and skins should bear witness gainst you? You thought [58] that Allah did not know most of your doings (59).

Ayah 44

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا أَعۡجَمِيّٗا لَّقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا فُصِّلَتۡ ءَايَٰتُهُۥٓۖ ءَا۬عۡجَمِيّٞ وَعَرَبِيّٞۗ قُلۡ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ هُدٗى وَشِفَآءٞۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٞ وَهُوَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ عَمًىۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُنَادَوۡنَ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ

44.Had We made it, the Quran, in a foreign [117] language, they would definitely have said [118]: "Why have its verses not been made clear [119]?" "Why, this is a foreign language, but you (Prophet) are an Arab [120]." Please declare: "That is a guidance and a healer [121] for the believers." But the infidels have deafness [122] in their ears and blindness [123] in them. They are like those who are called [124] from a far-off place.

Surah Name : Fussilat   Surah Number : 41   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 30

وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٖ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَيَعۡفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٖ

30. And whatever misfortune [91] befalls you is due to what your own hands earn [92]; but He pardons much.
