About the Surah Muhammad

Muhammad (Arabic: محمد, muḥammad; "Chapter of Muhammad") is the 47th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an with 38 verses (Ayat).

The summary/theme of the Surah Muhammad: 

It is referred to as the Chapter of Battle (Surah al-Qital) because it emphasizes the fight against the enemies of Islam. The main subject matter concerns believers and disbelievers, comparing the two worlds in this world and the one to come, and the hypocrites' sabotage in Medina.

Lesson learned from Surah Muhammad: 

  1. If you help Allah's, Allah's will help you.  
  2. There shall be a river of water in Jannah that won’t go stale.  
  3. There shall be another of pure honey.  
  4. There shall be another of milk that won’t go bad.  
  5. And another of tasty wine.  
  6. Not contemplating over the meaning of the Quran is sometimes down to spiritual illnesses.  
  7. Don’t corrupt your own actions.  
  8. Whoever is miserly, only hurts himself.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Allazeena kafaroo wa saddoo'an sabeelil laahi adalla a'maalahum
1. (Al-lah) invalidará las (buenas) acciones de quienes rechacen la verdad y desvíen (a los hombres) de Su camino.

Versículo 2 de 38

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَءَامَنُواْ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ كَفَّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَأَصۡلَحَ بَالَهُمۡ

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa aamanoo bimaa nuzzila 'alaa Muhammadinw-wa huwal haqqu mir Rabbihim kaffara 'anhum saiyiaatihim wa aslaha baalahum
2. Y perdonará los pecados de quienes crean, actúen con rectitud y crean en lo que le ha sido revelado a Muhammad, que es la verdad procedente de su Señor; y hará que prosperen.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ

Zaalika bi annal lazeena kafarut taba'ul baatila wa annal lazeena aamanut taba'ul haqqa mir Rabbihim; kazaalika yadribul laahu linnaasi amsaalahum
3. Así será, porque quienes rechazan la verdad siguen todo aquello que es falso, mientras que quienes creen siguen la verdad de su Señor. Así es cómo Al-lah expone ejemplos a los hombres.

فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَضَرۡبَ ٱلرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ فَشُدُّواْ ٱلۡوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنَّۢا بَعۡدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلۡحَرۡبُ أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَلَوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَٱنتَصَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ بَعۡضَكُم بِبَعۡضٖۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Fa-izaa laqeetumul lazeena kafaroo fadarbar riqaabi, hattaaa izaa askhan tumoohum fashuddul wasaaqa, fa immaa mannnam ba'du wa immaa fidaaa'an hattaa tada'al harbu awzaarahaa; zaalika wa law yashaaa'ul laahu lantasara minhum wa laakin li yabluwa ba'dakum bi ba'd; wallazeena qutiloo fee sabeelil laahi falany yudilla a'maalahum
4. Y cuando os enfrentéis contra quienes niegan la verdad(en el campo de batalla), matadlos. Después, cuando estén sometidos y derrotados, tomad prisioneros. Luego, cuando cese la guerra,podéis dejarlos en libertad o podéis pedir un rescate por ellos[938]. Así debe ser. Si Al-lah hubiese querido, habría acabado con ellos (sin necesidad de que lucharais), pero quiere poneros a prueba (a través del combate). Y Al-lah no dejará sin recompensa las buenas acciones de quienes mueran por Su causa.

Sa-yahdeehim wa yuslihu baalahum
5. Los guiará y hará que prosperen.

وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمۡ

Wa yudkhiluhumul jannata 'arrafahaa lahum
6. Y hará que entren en el paraíso que les ha sido descrito.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ

Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tansurul laaha yansurkum wa yusabbit aqdaamakum
7. ¡Oh, creyentes!, si defendéis la causa de Al-lah, Él os ayudará y afianzará vuestros pasos.

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَتَعۡسٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Wallazeena kafaroo fata' sal lahum wa adalla a'maalahum
8. Y quienes rechacen la verdad serán desgraciados y (Al-lah) anulará sus (buenas) acciones.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Zaalika bi annahum karihoo maaa anzal allaahu fa ahbata a'maalahum
9. Así será porque despreciaron la revelación de Al-lah, y Él invalidará, en consecuencia, las (buenas) acciones que realizaron.

۞أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡثَٰلُهَا

Afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fayanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; dammaral laahu 'alaihim wa lilkaafireena amsaaluhaa
10. ¿Acaso (quienes niegan la verdad) no recorren la tierra y observan cuál fue el final de quienes los precedieron (y reflexionan sobre ello)? Al-lah los destruyó, y lo mismo sucederá con (todos) los que la nieguen.
