Ayah 8

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

8.And they hated them (the believers) for no reason except that they believe in Allah, the Honourable, the All-Praiseworthy(6).

Ayah 88

۞قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكَ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَكَ مِن قَرۡيَتِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوۡ كُنَّا كَٰرِهِينَ

88.The proud chiefs [212] of his people said: "O Shuaib! We swear that we will certainly throw you out of our town along with those Muslims [213] who are with you or you come back to our faith." He said: "What! Even though we hate it [214]?"

Ayah 9

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

9. This is because they hate what Allah has revealed [22]. So He has rendered their deeds futile.

Ayah 26

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُواْ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ

26. That is because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed: We shall obey you in some[67] matter". And Allah knows their secrets [68].

Ayah 12

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱجۡتَنِبُواْ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثۡمٞۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُواْ وَلَا يَغۡتَب بَّعۡضُكُم بَعۡضًاۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن يَأۡكُلَ لَحۡمَ أَخِيهِ مَيۡتٗا فَكَرِهۡتُمُوهُۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٞ رَّحِيمٞ

12. O believers! Avoid most suspicions [33] Certainly some suspicions are sins [34]. And do not search for faults (35) and do not backbite (36) one another. Would any one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Surely you would hate it (37). And fear Allah. Certainly, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Ayah 9

هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ

9. It is He Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion [19], that He may cause it to dominate over all the religions [20], even though the polytheists may hate it.

Ayah 8

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطۡفِـُٔواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ

8. They desire to extinguish [17] the light of Allah blowing it with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His Light, even though the infidels may hate it [18].

Ayah 42

وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مَّا زَادَهُمۡ إِلَّا نُفُورًا

42. And they swore by Allah, with the utmost strength [123] of their oaths that if a warner came to them, they will certainly be better guided [124] than any of the other Ummahs. But when a warner came to them, it increased them not, but in hate (for him).
