The theme / Summary of the surah as-saff

Muslims of weak faith and those who entered Islam as a cover-up are exhorted in this Surah to demonstrate sincerity in their faith, and to give their lives in the cause of Allah.

Lesson learned from surah as-saff

  1. Don’t tell others to do things you wouldn’t do yourself.  
  2. Allah's loves organisation.  
  3. The disbelievers will try and extinguish the Light of Allah's, but Allah's will ensure His Light remains in spite of their dislike.  
  4. The D\u{012b}n was sent to be dominant over others.  
  5. We need to support the cause of Allah's’s Messenger ﷺ by trying our utmost in propagating his message and teachings.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

Sabbaha lillaahi maa fisamaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem
நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! எனது எதிரிகளையும் உங்கள் எதிரிகளையும் அவர்களிடம் அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்ற (உங்கள்) உற்ற நண்பர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள், நீங்கள் எனது பாதையில் ஜிஹாது செய்வதற்காகவும் என் பொருத்தத்தை தேடியும் வெளியேறி இருந்தால் (அவர்களை நண்பர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்!). அவர்களோ உங்களிடம் வந்த சத்தியத்தை திட்டமாக நிராகரித்தனர். உங்கள் இறைவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வை நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டதனால் தூதரையும் உங்களையும் (உங்கள் இல்லங்களிலிருந்து) அவர்கள் வெளியேற்றுகிறார்கள். அவர்களிடம் இரகசியமாக அன்பை காட்டுகிறீர்களா? நீங்கள் மறைப்பதையும் நீங்கள் பகிரங்கப்படுத்துவதையும் நான் நன்கறிவேன். உங்களில் யார் அதைச் செய்வாரோ (-அல்லாஹ்வின் எதிரிகளை தனது நண்பர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்வாரோ) திட்டமாக அவர் நேரான பாதையை விட்டு வழி கெட்டுவிட்டார்.

Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo lima taqooloona maa laa taf'aloon
நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! நீங்கள் செய்யாதவற்றை (செய்ததாக) ஏன் கூறுகிறீர்கள்?

Kabura maqtan 'indal laahi an taqooloo maa laa taf'aloon
நீங்கள் செய்யாதவற்றை நீங்கள் (செய்ததாகக்) கூறுவது அல்லாஹ்விடம் பெரும் கோபத்திற்குரியதாக இருக்கிறது.

வசனம் 4 இல் 10

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفّٗا كَأَنَّهُم بُنۡيَٰنٞ مَّرۡصُوصٞ

Innal laaha yuhibbul lazeena yuqaatiloona fee sabeelihee saffan ka annahum bunyaanum marsoos
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், அவனுடைய பாதையில் வரிசையாக நின்று போர் புரிபவர்களை விரும்புகிறான். அவர்களோ, (கற்கள் ஒன்றோடு ஒன்று மிக நெருக்கமாக வைத்து கட்டப்பட்ட) உறுதியான கட்டிடத்தைப் போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ يَٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Wa iz qaala Moosa liqawmihee yaa qawmi lima tu'zoonanee wa qat ta'lamoona annee Rasoolul laahi ilaikum falammaa zaaghooo azaaghal laahu quloobahum; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmal faasiqeen
இன்னும், மூஸா தனது மக்களுக்கு கூறிய சமயத்தை நினைவு கூர்வீராக! “என் மக்களே! எனக்கு ஏன் தொந்தரவு தருகிறீர்கள்? நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதராவேன் என்பதை திட்டமாக நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள்.” அவர்கள் (நேர்வழியில் இருந்து) விலகி வழிகேட்டில் சென்றபோது அல்லாஹ்வும் அவர்களின் உள்ளங்களை (நேர்வழியில் இருந்து) திருப்பி வழிகேட்டில் விட்டுவிட்டான். பாவிகளான மக்களை அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழி செலுத்தமாட்டான்.

وَإِذۡ قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُم مُّصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرَۢا بِرَسُولٖ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِي ٱسۡمُهُۥٓ أَحۡمَدُۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

Wa iz qaala 'Eesab-nu-Maryama yaa Banee Israaa'eela innee Rasoolul laahi ilaikum musaddiqal limaa baina yadayya minat Tawraati wa mubashshiram bi Rasooliny yaatee mim ba'dis muhooo Ahmad; falammaa jaaa'ahum bil baiyinaati qaaloo haazaa sihrum mubeen
இன்னும், மர்யமின் மகன் ஈஸா கூறியதை நினைவு கூர்வீராக! “இஸ்ரவேலர்களே! நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதர் ஆவேன். எனக்கு முன்னுள்ள தவ்ராத்தை நான் உண்மைப்படுத்துகிறேன். எனக்குப் பின் வருகின்ற ஒரு தூதரை நான் (உங்களுக்கு) நற்செய்தி கூறுகிறேன். அவரது பெயர் அஹ்மத் ஆகும்.” ஆக, அவர் (-ஈஸா) தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளுடன் அவர்களிடம் வந்தபோது, “இ(வர் கொண்டு வந்த இந்த அத்தாட்சிகளாவ)து தெளிவான சூனியமாகும்” என்று அவர்கள் (-இஸ்ரவேலர்கள்) கூறினார்கள்.

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدۡعَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wa man azlamu mimma nif taraa 'alal laahil kaziba wa huwa yad'aaa ilal Islaam; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen
அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யை இட்டுக்கட்டுபவரை விட பெரிய அநியாயக்காரர் யார்? அவரோ அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார். (ஆனால், அதை அவர் ஏற்காமல் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய் கூறுகிறார்.) அநியாயக்கார மக்களை அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழி செலுத்த மாட்டான்.

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطۡفِـُٔواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ

Yureedoona liyutfi'oo nooral laahi bi afwaahihim wallaahu mutimmu noorihee wa law karihal kaafiroon
அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் ஒளியை தங்களது வாய்களினால் (ஊதி) அணைத்துவிட நாடுகிறார்கள். அல்லாஹ் தனது ஒளியை முழுமைப்படுத்துவான், நிராகரிப்பாளர்கள் வெறுத்தாலும் சரியே!

هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ

Huwal lazee arsala Rasoolahoo bilhudaa wa deenil haqqi liyuzhirahoo 'alad deeni kullihee wa law karihal mushrikoon
அவன்தான் தனது தூதரை நேர்வழியைக் கொண்டும் சத்திய மார்க்கத்தைக் கொண்டும் அனுப்பினான், எல்லா மார்க்கங்களை விட அ(ந்த சத்திய மார்க்கத்)தை மேலோங்க வைப்பதற்காக. இணைவைப்பவர்கள் வெறுத்தாலும் சரியே (அல்லாஹ்வின் மார்க்கம் மேலோங்கியே தீரும்)!

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰرَةٖ تُنجِيكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo hal adullukum 'alaa tijaaratin tunjeekum min 'azaabin aleem
நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! உங்களுக்கு ஒரு வியாபாரத்தை நான் அறிவிக்கட்டுமா? துன்புறுத்தும் தண்டனையை விட்டும் அது உங்களை பாதுகாக்கும்.
