Ayah 1

لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ

1. The infidels among the people of the Book and the polytheists would not change their religion [1] until clear proof [2] is conveyed to them.

Surah Name : Al-Bayyinah   Surah Number : 98   Ayat Number: 1

Ayah 117

إِن يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ إِنَٰثٗا وَإِن يَدۡعُونَ إِلَّا شَيۡطَٰنٗا مَّرِيدٗا

117. These polytheists worship not Allah, but some females [358] and worship not but a rebellious Shaitaan [359].

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 117

Ayah 105

مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

105. Those who disbelieve from the people of the Book [206] or the polytheists do not wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the Possessor of Great Bounty.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 105

Ayah 135

وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوۡ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهۡتَدُواْۗ قُلۡ بَلۡ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

135. And they (the people of the Book) say, "Be Yahud or Nasara, and you will be guided." Say (O Muhammad): "Rather, we follow the religion of Ibrahim, inclining toward truth [269], and he was not among the polytheists [270]."

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 135

Ayah 221

وَلَا تَنكِحُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِ حَتَّىٰ يُؤۡمِنَّۚ وَلَأَمَةٞ مُّؤۡمِنَةٌ خَيۡرٞ مِّن مُّشۡرِكَةٖ وَلَوۡ أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡۗ وَلَا تُنكِحُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ حَتَّىٰ يُؤۡمِنُواْۚ وَلَعَبۡدٞ مُّؤۡمِنٌ خَيۡرٞ مِّن مُّشۡرِكٖ وَلَوۡ أَعۡجَبَكُمۡۗ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ وَٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦۖ وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

221. And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe, and a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not accept polytheistic men to marry your women until they believe [525], and a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. They invite you to Hell [526], and Allah invites you to Paradise and to forgiveness by His command [527]. And He makes clear His verses to the people so that perhaps they may remember.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 221

Ayah 67

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا جَعَلۡنَا حَرَمًا ءَامِنٗا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ ٱلنَّاسُ مِنۡ حَوۡلِهِمۡۚ أَفَبِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ وَبِنِعۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَكۡفُرُونَ

67. Have they (infidels of Makkah or polytheists of sacred Haraam) not seen that We have made the sanctified Land secure [160], while people around them are snatched away [161]? What! Then they believe in falsehood [162] and are ungrateful to the favor of Allah.

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 67

Ayah 67

مَا كَانَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ يَهُودِيّٗا وَلَا نَصۡرَانِيّٗا وَلَٰكِن كَانَ حَنِيفٗا مُّسۡلِمٗا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

67. Ebrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was an upright Muslim [144], inclined towards truth, and he was not at all of the polytheists.

Ayah 95

قُلۡ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُۗ فَٱتَّبِعُواْ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

95. Please declare (O Prophet Muhammad): "Allah speaks the truth. So follow the religion of Ebrahim, who was separate from every falsehood [209], and was never from the polytheists."

Ayah 186

۞لَتُبۡلَوُنَّ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡ وَلَتَسۡمَعُنَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ أَذٗى كَثِيرٗاۚ وَإِن تَصۡبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ

186. Surely you will be tested in your possessions and your lives [424], and you shall surely hear many insulting [425] things from the people who were given the Book before you and from the polytheists. But if you endure and guard yourselves (against evil), then it is work of strong determination [426].

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 186

Ayah 87

وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ أُنزِلَتۡ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

87. And let them never bar you from the signs of Allah after they have been sent down to you [216], and call towards your Lord [217], and never be among the polytheists [218].

Surah Name : Al-Qasas   Surah Number : 28   Ayat Number: 87

Ayah 148

سَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكۡنَا وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُواْ بَأۡسَنَاۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ عِندَكُم مِّنۡ عِلۡمٖ فَتُخۡرِجُوهُ لَنَآۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَخۡرُصُونَ

148. The polytheists will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have committed polytheism [338], nor would our forefathers, nor would we have forbidden anything [339]." In the same way, those before them also belied until they tasted Our punishment [340]. Say, "Do you have any knowledge [341] that you can bring forth to us [342]? You follow nothing but assumptions, and you are merely guessing [343]."

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 148

Ayah 137

وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ قَتۡلَ أَوۡلَٰدِهِمۡ شُرَكَآؤُهُمۡ لِيُرۡدُوهُمۡ وَلِيَلۡبِسُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ دِينَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُونَ

137. And thus their associates have made to appear fair the killing of their offspring [301], in the eyes of many polytheists, so that they may kill them and may confuse them in their religion [302]. And had Allah willed, they would not have done so. Therefore, you leave them, for they are [303], with their fabrications [304].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 137

Ayah 121

وَلَا تَأۡكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمۡ يُذۡكَرِ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِسۡقٞۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآئِهِمۡ لِيُجَٰدِلُوكُمۡۖ وَإِنۡ أَطَعۡتُمُوهُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ لَمُشۡرِكُونَ

121. And eat not that over which the name of Allah has not been pronounced [266], for surely that is disobedience. And indeed, the Shaitaan inspire their friends to argue with you [267]. And if you obey them, then indeed you are polytheists [268].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 121

Ayah 106

ٱتَّبِعۡ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

106. Follow what has been revealed to you [230] from your Lord. None is to be worshipped except Him, and turn away from the polytheists [231].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 106

Ayah 79

إِنِّي وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

79. "I have turned my face towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, being true to Him [158], and I am not among the polytheists."

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 79

Ayah 23

ثُمَّ لَمۡ تَكُن فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشۡرِكِينَ

23. Then there will remain no fabrication for them, but to say: "By Allah, our Lord! We were not polytheists" [46].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 22

وَيَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

22. And the day when We shall raise them altogether [44], then We shall say to the polytheists: "Where are those associates whom you used to assert?" [45].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 22

Ayah 14

قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيّٗا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ يُطۡعِمُ وَلَا يُطۡعَمُۗ قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

14. Please declare (O Beloved Prophet): "Shall I take for a protector anyone other than Allah [27], the Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who feeds but is not fed? [28] Please declare (O Beloved Prophet): "I have been commanded to submit [29], and never to be a polytheist [30]."

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 14

Ayah 82

۞لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ ٱلنَّاسِ عَدَٰوَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقۡرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا نَصَٰرَىٰۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهۡبَانٗا وَأَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

82. And you will surely find the Jews and polytheists [232] to be the most intense in enmity toward those who believe, and you will surely find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians" [233]. That is because among them are priests and monks, and they are not arrogant [234].

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 82

Ayah 1

بَرَآءَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

1. This is a declaration of disassociation from Allah and His Messenger to those with whom you, O Prophet, have made an agreement from the polytheists, and they did not keep their promise [1].
