Al-Humazah (Arabic: الهمزة, "The Backbiter," "The Slanderer," or "The Scorner") is the 104th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an, containing 9 verses (Ayat).
Surah Humza was revealed at Makkah and is one of the early Surahs. The slanderer, defamer, and stingy shall be thrown into the blazing fire. This Surah condemns the evils which were prevalent among the materialistic hoarders of wealth in the pre-Islamic days.
1. Those who look down upon people and treat them as lowly are destined for destruction in the Hereafter.
2. Those who talk to others with arrogance are also destined for destruction.
3. Never amass wealth and think or act as if it will remain with you forever.
