Surah Al-Anfal

English Translation, Transliteration, Tafsir - Ayat [21-30]
 
Ayah 21 of 10

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena qaaloo sami'naa wa hum laa yasma'oon
21. And be not like those who say: "We hear" and they hear not [45].
Ayah 22 of 10

۞إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلۡبُكۡمُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahis summul bukmul lazeena laa ya'qiloon
22. Surely, the worst of animals in the sight of Allah are those who are deaf and dumb, who have no sense [46].
Ayah 23 of 10

وَلَوۡ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِمۡ خَيۡرٗا لَّأَسۡمَعَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَسۡمَعَهُمۡ لَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ

Wa law 'alimal laahu feehim khairal la asma'ahum; wa law asma'ahum latawallaw wa hum mu'ridoon
23. And if Allah had known any good in them, He would have caused them to listen [47]. And if He had made them to hear, even then in the end, they would have turned away their faces [48].
Ayah 24 of 10

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ لِمَا يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanus tajeeboo lillaahi wa lir Rasooli izaa da'aakum limaa yuhyeekum wa'lamooo annal laaha yahoolu bainal mar'i wa qalbihee wa anahooo ilaihi tuhsharoon
24. O believers! Respond to Allah and the Messenger [49] when he calls you to that which gives you life [50]. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart [51], and that to Him you shall be gathered [52].
Ayah 25 of 10

وَٱتَّقُواْ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمۡ خَآصَّةٗۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

Wattaqoo fitnatal laa tuseebannal lazeena zalamoo minkum khaaaassatanw wa'lamooo annal laaha shadeedul 'iqaab
25. And fear the trial [53] that will not befall those of you alone who are unjust. And know that Allah is severe in punishment.
Ayah 26 of 10

وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ قَلِيلٞ مُّسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَـَٔاوَىٰكُمۡ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصۡرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

Wazkurooo iz antum qaleelum mustad 'afoona filardi takhaafoona ai yatakhat tafakumun naasu fa aawaakum wa aiyadakum binasrihee wa razaqakum minat taiyibaati la'allakum tashkuroon
26. And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people would snatch[54] you away. Then He provided you refuge and supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things [55], so that you might be grateful.
Ayah 27 of 10

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَخُونُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوٓاْ أَمَٰنَٰتِكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takhoonal laaha war Rasoola wa takhoonooo amaanaatikum wa antum ta'lamoon
27. O believers! Do not betray Allah and the Messenger [56], and do not betray your trusts knowingly [57].
Ayah 28 of 10

وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٞ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ

Wa'lamooo annamaaa amwaalukum wa awlaadukum fitnatunw wa annal laaha 'indahooo ajrun azeem
28. And know that your wealth and your children are a trial [58], and that with Allah is a great reward [59].
Ayah 29 of 10

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ فُرۡقَانٗا وَيُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tattaqul laaha yaj'al lakum furqaananw wa yukaffir 'ankum saiyi aatikum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu zul fadlil 'azeem
29. O believers! If you fear Allah, He will grant you a distinction [60] to differentiate between right and wrong, and will remove your evils [61], and will forgive you. And Allah is the Possessor of great favor.
Ayah 30 of 10

وَإِذۡ يَمۡكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيُثۡبِتُوكَ أَوۡ يَقۡتُلُوكَ أَوۡ يُخۡرِجُوكَۚ وَيَمۡكُرُونَ وَيَمۡكُرُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَٰكِرِينَ

Wa iz yamkuru bikal lazeena kafaroo liyusbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijook; wa yamkuroona wa yamkurul laahu wallaahu khairul maakireen
30. And (O Beloved Prophet!) remember when the infidels were plotting against you, to confine you, to slay [62] you, or to drive you out. And they were plotting, while Allah was also planning [63]. And Allah is the Best of Planners.
