Surah Al-Anfal

English Translation, Transliteration, Tafsir - Ayat [51-60]
 
Ayah 51 of 10

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّـٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ

Zaalika bimaa qaddamat aideekum wa anal laaha laisa bizallaamil lil 'abeed
51. This is in recompense for what your hands have sent ahead. And Allah is not unjust to His servants [121].
Ayah 52 of 10

كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِيّٞ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wal lazeena min qablihim; kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi fa akhazahu mul laahu bizunoobihim; innal laaha qawiyyun shadeedul 'iqaab
52. Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh [122] and those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah destroyed them for their sins [123]. Indeed, Allah is Strong and severe in punishment.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمۡ يَكُ مُغَيِّرٗا نِّعۡمَةً أَنۡعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ

Zaalika bi annal laaha lam yakumu ghaiyiran ni'matan an'amahaa 'alaa qawmin hattaa yughaiyiroo maa bianfusihim wa annallaaha samee'un 'Aleem
53. This is so because Allah does not change the favour that He confers upon a people until they change themselves [124]. And surely Allah is Hearing [125], Knowing.
Ayah 54 of 10

كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ وَكُلّٞ كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ

Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wallazeena min qablihim; kazzaboo bi Aayaati Rabbihim faahlaknaahum bizunoobihim wa aghraqnaa Aala Fir'awn; wa kullun kaanoo zaalimeen
54. The manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them [126] was that they had falsified the signs of their Lord. Then We destroyed them for their sins [127]. And We drowned the people of Pharaoh, and they were all unjust.
Ayah 55 of 10

إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahil lazeena kafaroo fahum laa yu'minoon
55. Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who disbelieve [128] and do not believe.
Ayah 56 of 10

ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتَّ مِنۡهُمۡ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَهُمۡ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يَتَّقُونَ

Allazeena'aahatta min hum summa yanqudoona 'ahdahum fee kulli marratinw wa hum laa yattaqoon
56. Those with whom you had entered into a covenant, then they break their covenant every time, and they do not fear [129].
Ayah 57 of 10

فَإِمَّا تَثۡقَفَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَرۡبِ فَشَرِّدۡ بِهِم مَّنۡ خَلۡفَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

Fa immaa tasqafannahum fil harbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum la'allahum yazzakkaroon
57. Therefore, if you find them anywhere in the war, kill them in such a manner that the remaining ones may be put to flight [130]. Then perhaps they may become mindful.
Ayah 58 of 10

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوۡمٍ خِيَانَةٗ فَٱنۢبِذۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ

Wa immaa takhaafana min qawmin khiyaanatan fambiz ilaihim 'alaa sawaaa'; innal laaha laayuhibbul khaaa'ineen
58. If you fear treachery from any people, throw back to them their covenant on equal basis [131]. Surely, the treacherous are not liked by Allah.
Ayah 59 of 10

وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُمۡ لَا يُعۡجِزُونَ

Wa laa yahsabannal lazeena kafaroo sabaqooo; innahum laa yu'jizoon
59. And let not the infidels boast that they have gone out of hand [132]. Indeed, they cannot escape.
Ayah 60 of 10

وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن قُوَّةٖ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ ٱلۡخَيۡلِ تُرۡهِبُونَ بِهِۦ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تُظۡلَمُونَ

Wa a'iddoo lahum mastata'tum min quwwatinw wa mirribaatil khaili turhiboona bihee 'aduwwal laahi wa 'aduwwakum wa aakhareena min doonihim laa ta'lamoo nahum Allaahu ya'lamuhum; wa maa tunfiqoo min shai'in fee sabeelil laahi yuwaffa ilaikum wa antum laa tuzlamoon
60. And make ready for them the strength [133], you can gather and of steeds of war by which you may frighten the enemies of Allah and your enemies [134], and in the hearts of some others besides them whom you do not know [135]. Allah knows them [136]. And whatever you spend in the path of Allah shall be repaid to you in full, and in no way will you be at a loss [137].
