Surah Al-Muminun

Ayah 11 of 10

ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسَ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

Allazeena yarisoonal Firdawsa hum feehaa khaalidoon
11. Who shall inherit the Paradise, they shall abide therein [11].

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن سُلَٰلَةٖ مِّن طِينٖ

Wa laqad khalaqnal insaana min sulaalatim minteen
12. And assuredly, We made man from the extract of clay [12].

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ نُطۡفَةٗ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٖ

Summa ja'alnaahu nutfatan fee qaraarim makeen
13. Then We made him a drop of water and put it in a strong serenity [13].

ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةٗ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَٰمٗا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَٰمَ لَحۡمٗا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

Summa khalaqnan nutfata 'alaqatan fakhalaqnal 'alaqata mudghatan fakhalaq nal mudghata 'izaaman fakasawnal 'izaama lahman summa anshaanaahu khalqan aakhar; fatabaarakal laahu ahsanul khaaliqeen
14. Then We made the drops of water a clot, then We made the clot a piece of flesh, then We made the bones [14], then We developed it into another shape [15]. So blessed is Allah, the Best Creator (16).

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ

Summa innakum ba'da zaalika la maiyitoon
15. Then after this necessarily you are to die [17].

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ تُبۡعَثُونَ

Summa innakum Yawmal Qiyaamati tub'asoon
16. Then you all shall be raised up on the Day of Judgement [18].

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَآئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَٰفِلِينَ

Wa laqad khalaqnaa fawqakum sab'a taraaa'iqa wa maa kunnaa 'anil khalqi ghaafileen
17. And assuredly, We made seven ways [19] above you, and We are not heedless of creation [20].

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَسۡكَنَّـٰهُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَٰدِرُونَ

Wa anzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'am biqadarin fa-askannaahu fil ardi wa innaa 'alaa zahaabim bihee laqaa diroon
18. And We sent down water from the heavens according to an estimate [21], then caused it to stay in the earth [22]; and indeed, We are potent to take it away (23),

فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ لَّكُمۡ فِيهَا فَوَٰكِهُ كَثِيرَةٞ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

Fa anshaanaa lakum bihee Jannaatim min nakheelinw wa a'naab; lakum feehaa fawaakihu kaseeratunw wa minhaa taakuloon
19. Then We created therewith your gardens of dates and grapes for you therein. For you are abundant [24] fruits, and you eat from there [25].

وَشَجَرَةٗ تَخۡرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيۡنَآءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهۡنِ وَصِبۡغٖ لِّلۡأٓكِلِينَ

Wa shajaratan takhruju min Toori Sainaaa'a tambutu bidduhni wa sibghil lil aakileen
20. And created a tree that springs forth from the Mount Sinai [26], that grows oil and a sauce for those who eat [27].
