Ayah 22

فَدَلَّىٰهُمَا بِغُرُورٖۚ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا ٱلشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتۡ لَهُمَا سَوۡءَٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخۡصِفَانِ عَلَيۡهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ وَنَادَىٰهُمَا رَبُّهُمَآ أَلَمۡ أَنۡهَكُمَا عَن تِلۡكُمَا ٱلشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَآ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ لَكُمَا عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ

22.Then he caused them to fall into delusion [38]. And when they tasted the tree, their shame [39] became apparent to them, and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise [40]. And their Lord called to them, "Did I not forbid you from that tree [41] and tell you that the devil is indeed your open enemy?" [42]

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 22

Ayah 157

ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ ٱلۡأُمِّيَّ ٱلَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُۥ مَكۡتُوبًا عِندَهُمۡ فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ يَأۡمُرُهُم بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَىٰهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡخَبَـٰٓئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنۡهُمۡ إِصۡرَهُمۡ وَٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ ٱلَّتِي كَانَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِهِۦ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلنُّورَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُۥٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

157. And those who follow the unlettered Messenger (the communicator of hidden news), whom they find written [348] with them in the Torah and the Gospel [349]. He will command them to do good and forbid them from evil, and will make lawful for them [350] pure things and forbid them from impure things [351], and will relieve them of their burdens and the shackles [352] that were upon them. So, those who believe in him, honor him, support him [353], and follow the Light that has been sent down [354] with him—they are the ones who have attained success [355].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 157

Ayah 110

كُنتُمۡ خَيۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ ءَامَنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۚ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

110. You are the best people [241] raised for the benefit of mankind. You promote what is right, forbid what is wrong, and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most are rebellious [242].

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 110

Ayah 114

يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَيَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

114. They believe in Allah and the Last Day [252], enjoin what is right, forbid what is evil, and hasten [253] towards good deeds. These are the righteous.

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 114

Ayah 17

يَٰبُنَيَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱنۡهَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ

17."O my dear son! Establish [36] prayer and bid the doing of good and forbid [37] evil and be patient (38) over whatever befalls upon you. Surely, those are affairs which require determination (39)".

Surah Name : Luqman   Surah Number : 31   Ayat Number: 17

Ayah 26

وَهُمۡ يَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنۡهُ وَيَنۡـَٔوۡنَ عَنۡهُۖ وَإِن يُهۡلِكُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

26. And they forbid from it and keep far from it [51], and they ruin not but their own souls, but they do not understand it.

Ayah 63

لَوۡلَا يَنۡهَىٰهُمُ ٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ عَن قَوۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَأَكۡلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصۡنَعُونَ

63. Why do their clergymen and priests not forbid [188] them from speaking sinful words and consuming what is forbidden? How wretched is what they have been practicing.

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 29

قَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلۡحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعۡطُواْ ٱلۡجِزۡيَةَ عَن يَدٖ وَهُمۡ صَٰغِرُونَ,

29. Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day [65], and do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger [66] have made lawful, and do not adhere to the true faith [67], among those who were given the Book [68], until they pay the required tax with their own hands, being subdued [69].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 29

Ayah 37

إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِيٓءُ زِيَادَةٞ فِي ٱلۡكُفۡرِۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامٗا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامٗا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔواْ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّواْ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ أَعۡمَٰلِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ,

37. Surely, their postponement of the sacred months is nothing but an increase in disbelief [96], by which those who disbelieve are led astray [97]. They make it lawful one year [98], and forbid it in another [99], to adjust the count of the months that Allah has made sacred [100], thus permitting what Allah has forbidden. Their evil deeds have been made attractive [101] to them. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people [102].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 37

Ayah 67

ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَقۡبِضُونَ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ,

67. The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are all alike [184]. They enjoin evil and forbid good [185] and withhold their hands [186]. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Indeed, the hypocrites are the defiantly disobedient [187].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 67

Ayah 71

وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ سَيَرۡحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ,

71. And the Muslim men and women are allies [197] to one another. They encourage good and forbid evil, and establish prayer and pay the poor-due and obey Allah and His Messenger. These are they on whom Allah will have mercy [198]. Indeed, Allah is Dominant, the Wise [199].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 71

Ayah 112

ٱلتَّـٰٓئِبُونَ ٱلۡعَٰبِدُونَ ٱلۡحَٰمِدُونَ ٱلسَّـٰٓئِحُونَ ٱلرَّـٰكِعُونَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدُونَ ٱلۡأٓمِرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱلنَّاهُونَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱلۡحَٰفِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ,

112. They are those who repent [314], who worship, who praise, who observe fasting, who bow, who prostrate, who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and who safeguard the limits [315] of Allah. And give glad tidings to the believers.

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 112

Ayah 88

قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَرَزَقَنِي مِنۡهُ رِزۡقًا حَسَنٗاۚ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنۡ أُخَالِفَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنۡهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُۚ إِنۡ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِصۡلَٰحَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُۚ وَمَا تَوۡفِيقِيٓ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِۚ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَيۡهِ أُنِيبُ

88. He said, "O my people, tell me fairly, if I have clear proof [179] from my Lord and He has given me good provision [180] from Himself. I do not wish to act contrary to what I forbid you from. I only desire to reform as much as I can. My success is only through Allah; I rely upon Him and turn to Him alone [182]."

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 88

Ayah 41

ٱلَّذِينَ إِن مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُاْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَمَرُواْ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَنَهَوۡاْ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡأُمُورِ

41. Those, if We give them control [94] in the land they, would establish [95] prayer and pay the zakat (poor-due) and command good and forbid (96) evil. And for Allah is the end of all affairs. (97)

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 41

Ayah 9

إِنَّمَا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ قَٰتَلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَأَخۡرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ وَظَٰهَرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ إِخۡرَاجِكُمۡ أَن تَوَلَّوۡهُمۡۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمۡ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

9. Allah only forbids you in respect of those who have fought against you on account of (your) religion [30] and expelled you from your home and backed (others) in your expulsion, that you befriend [31] them. And whoever makes friendship with them, those are the unjust [32].

Surah Name : Al-Mumtahanah   Surah Number : 60   Ayat Number: 9

Ayah 8

لَّا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمۡ يُخۡرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ

8.Allah does not forbid you to respect those who have not fought against you on account of (your) religion, and who have not expelled [28] you out of your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly. Indeed, Allah loves [29] those who are just.
