Ayah 9

وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ

9 And keep up the weight with justice and do not shorten[9] the balance of measures.

Surah Name : Ar-Rahman   Surah Number : 55   Ayat Number: 9

Ayah 58

۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُكُمۡ أَن تُؤَدُّواْ ٱلۡأَمَٰنَٰتِ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمۡتُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ أَن تَحۡكُمُواْ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦٓۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرٗا

58. Indeed, Allah commands you to deliver back the trusts to their owners [201], and when you judge between people, judge with justice [202]. Surely, Allah admonishes you well. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing, All Seeing [203].

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 58

Ayah 127

وَيَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ فِي ٱلنِّسَآءِۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُفۡتِيكُمۡ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ فِي يَتَٰمَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ ٱلَّـٰتِي لَا تُؤۡتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرۡغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنِ وَأَن تَقُومُواْ لِلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُواْ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٗا

127. And they request from you (O Muhammad) your verdict [378] concerning women. Please declare: "Allah gives verdict [379] to you concerning them and that which is recited to you in the Book (Quran) concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is prescribed for them [380] and (yet) turn your faces from marrying [381] them. And concerning the oppressed children, He has instructed you that you maintain justice [382] towards the orphans. And whatever good you do, Allah is aware of your doings [383].

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 127

Ayah 47

وَنَضَعُ ٱلۡمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلۡقِسۡطَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةٖ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ أَتَيۡنَا بِهَاۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ

47. And We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Judgement [75], that no soul shall be wronged [76] anything. And if there be anything, even equal to a grain of a mustard seed, then We shall bring it. And We are sufficient to take into account (77).

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 47

Ayah 29

قُلۡ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَأَقِيمُواْ وُجُوهَكُمۡ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسۡجِدٖ وَٱدۡعُوهُ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمۡ تَعُودُونَ

29. Say, "My Lord has commanded justice [58] and that you maintain yourselves at every place of worship, calling upon Him, dedicating [59] your religion solely to Him. Just as He created you, so will you return" [60].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 29

Ayah 159

وَمِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰٓ أُمَّةٞ يَهۡدُونَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعۡدِلُونَ

159. And among the people of Musa, there is a community that guides others with truth and establishes justice with it [361].

Ayah 181

وَمِمَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآ أُمَّةٞ يَهۡدُونَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعۡدِلُونَ

181. And among those whom We have created, a group guides with the truth and dispenses justice accordingly [416].

Ayah 76

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا رَّجُلَيۡنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبۡكَمُ لَا يَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوۡلَىٰهُ أَيۡنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأۡتِ بِخَيۡرٍ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

76. And Allah explained an example: there are two men, one dumb, who can do nothing [162] and is a burden [163] on his master; wherever he is sent, he brings no good. Will he be equal to the one who orders justice [164] and is on the straight path?

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 76

Ayah 90

۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ وَإِيتَآيِٕ ذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡيِۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

90. Verily, Allah commands [200] with justice and good dealings and has given you close relatives [201], and He has forbidden you from indecency, wickedness [202], and being rebellious. He admonishes you that you should be mindful.

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 90

Ayah 9

وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّتِي تَبۡغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَآءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوٓاْۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ

9. And if two groups of the believers fight [20] each other, then make peace [21] between them. But if one of them commits excessiveness against the other, then fight the one who has committed excessiveness (22), till they revert to the Command of Allah. Then if they revert, decide between them in equity and do justice (23) impartially. Surely, Allah loves the just ones (24),

Surah Name : Al-Hujurat   Surah Number : 49   Ayat Number: 9

Ayah 22

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ

22. When they entered upon Dawood, he became confused [39]of them. They said: "Fear [40] not, we are two disputants, one of us has aggressed against the other (41). Therefore, judge between us with justice and be not unjust( 42) and guide us to the right path".

Surah Name : Saad   Surah Number : 38   Ayat Number: 22

Ayah 21

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقّٖ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

21. Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah [47] and kill the Prophets unjustly and kill those [48] who order justice from among the people, give them the tidings of a painful punishment.

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 21

Ayah 152

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُواْۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

152. And do not approach the property of orphans except in the best manner until they reach maturity [356]. And give full measure and weight in justice [357]. We do not burden a soul beyond its capacity [358]. And when you speak, be just, even if it concerns a relative [359]. And fulfill your covenant with Allah [360]. This is what He has enjoined upon you, that perhaps you may remember [361].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 152

Ayah 115

وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدۡقٗا وَعَدۡلٗاۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

115. And complete is the word of your Lord in veracity and justice [251]. There is no one to change His words [252]. And He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 115

Ayah 52

وَلَا تَطۡرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلۡعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَهُۥۖ مَا عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ وَمَا مِنۡ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَتَطۡرُدَهُمۡ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

52. And do not drive away [101] those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Pleasure [102]. You are not accountable for them [103], nor are they accountable for you. If you drive them away, then you would indeed be among the unjust [104].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 52

Ayah 42

سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِلۡكَذِبِ أَكَّـٰلُونَ لِلسُّحۡتِۚ فَإِن جَآءُوكَ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَهُمۡ أَوۡ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡۖ وَإِن تُعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَإِنۡ حَكَمۡتَ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ

42. They are avid listeners of lies and devourers of things forbidden [134]. So if they come to you, judge between them or turn your face from them [135]. They shall not harm you at all. And if you judge between them, then judge with justice [136]. Indeed, Allah loves those who are just [137].

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 42

Ayah 4

إِلَيۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ جَمِيعٗاۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّاۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ شَرَابٞ مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ

4. To Him is your return, all of you. This is the true promise [12] of Allah. Indeed, He initiates creation and then repeats it, so that He may justly reward those who believe [13] and do righteous deeds [14]. But for those who disbelieve, they will have a boiling drink [15] and a painful punishment [16] because they disbelieved.

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 4

Ayah 85

وَيَٰقَوۡمِ أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

85. And O my people! Give full measure and weight with justice, and do not diminish the people’s due [174]. And do not spread corruption in the land [175].

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 85

Ayah 6

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٞ

6. And surely, justice [6] is to be done.

Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 6

Ayah 15

فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَٱدۡعُۖ وَٱسۡتَقِمۡ كَمَآ أُمِرۡتَۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۖ وَقُلۡ ءَامَنتُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن كِتَٰبٖۖ وَأُمِرۡتُ لِأَعۡدِلَ بَيۡنَكُمُۖ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمۡۖ لَنَآ أَعۡمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُۖ ٱللَّهُ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَاۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

15. So for this, you call[40] and remain steadfast[41] as you have been commanded and do not follow their evil desires (42). But please declare: "1 believe (43) in whatever Book Allah has revealed and I have been commanded that I should do justice (44) between you. Allah is our Lord and the Lord(45) of you all. For us are our deeds and for you are your(46) deeds. There is no dispute between you(47) and us. Allah will gather us together (48), and towards Him is the destination of all.
