Ayah 102

وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتۡلُواْ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلۡكِ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيۡمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلۡمَلَكَيۡنِ بِبَابِلَ هَٰرُوتَ وَمَٰرُوتَۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٞ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنۡهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَزَوۡجِهِۦۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمۡۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَٰقٖۚ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ

102. And they followed (instead) what the Shaitaan had recited during the reign of Sulaiman [195]. It was not Sulaiman who disbelieved, but the Shaitaan who disbelieved [196], teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut [197]. And they (the two angels) do not teach anyone anything unless they say: "We are merely a test. Therefore, do not be infidels" [198]. And they learn from them that which causes separation [199] between husband and wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And they learn what will harm them and not benefit them [200]. And certainly, they knew whosoever traded in it (magic) will have no share [201] in the Hereafter. And surely, most evil is that for which they have sold themselves, if only they had known.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 102

Ayah 3

لَاهِيَةٗ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّجۡوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡۖ أَفَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُبۡصِرُونَ

3. Their hearts have fallen into sport [5]. And the unjust counselled amongst themselves secretly [6]: "Who is this? Is he only a man like you (6)? Do you go to magic while you are seeing (7)?

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 15

أَفَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

15.Is this magic [13], or you do not Receive?

Surah Name : At-Tur   Surah Number : 52   Ayat Number: 15

Ayah 57

قَالَ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتُخۡرِجَنَا مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَا بِسِحۡرِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

57. Firawn said, 'Have you come to us for driving us out from our land by your magic O Musa!' [67]

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 57

Ayah 58

فَلَنَأۡتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحۡرٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ فَٱجۡعَلۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكَ مَوۡعِدٗا لَّا نُخۡلِفُهُۥ نَحۡنُ وَلَآ أَنتَ مَكَانٗا سُوٗى

58. Then necessarily, we too bring a [68] and like magic before you, so make an appointment between us yourself, neither we change nor you, at an even place [69].

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 58

Ayah 63

قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَٰنِ لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخۡرِجَاكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِمَا وَيَذۡهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلۡمُثۡلَىٰ

63. They said, 'indeed, these both are necessarily, magicians, they desire to drive you out from your land by the strength of their magic and take away your good religion.[76]

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 116

قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ

116. Musa said: "You throw." When they threw, they enchanted the eyes of the people and frightened them, and they brought forth a great magic.

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 116

Ayah 35

يُرِيدُ أَن يُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِۦ فَمَاذَا تَأۡمُرُونَ

35. He desires to expel you from your land by the power of his magic, then what do you advise [43]?

Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 35

Ayah 15

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

15. And they say: "This is not but an open magic [18]"

Surah Name : As-Saffat   Surah Number : 37   Ayat Number: 15

Ayah 36

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّفۡتَرٗى وَمَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِيٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

36. Then when Musa brought them Our clear signs, they said, "This is nothing but fabricated magic, [101] and we have never heard of this among our forefathers." [102]

Surah Name : Al-Qasas   Surah Number : 28   Ayat Number: 36

Ayah 110

إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ ٱذۡكُرۡ نِعۡمَتِي عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَتِكَ إِذۡ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ ٱلۡقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِي ٱلۡمَهۡدِ وَكَهۡلٗاۖ وَإِذۡ عَلَّمۡتُكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَۖ وَإِذۡ تَخۡلُقُ مِنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيۡـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيۡرِ بِإِذۡنِي فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيۡرَۢا بِإِذۡنِيۖ وَتُبۡرِئُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَهَ وَٱلۡأَبۡرَصَ بِإِذۡنِيۖ وَإِذۡ تُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ بِإِذۡنِيۖ وَإِذۡ كَفَفۡتُ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ عَنكَ إِذۡ جِئۡتَهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

110. When Allah will say: "O Isa, son of Maryam, remember My favour upon you and your mother [297] when I supported you with the Holy Spirit. You spoke to the people in the cradle and as an adult. And remember when I taught you the Book, wisdom, the Torah, and the Injeel [298]. When you fashioned from clay the likeness of a bird by My permission, then breathed into it, and it became a bird by My permission. And you healed the blind and the leper by My permission, and you brought the dead to life by My permission. And when I restrained the Children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear proofs, and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is nothing but clear magic" [299].

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 110

Ayah 76

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ عِندِنَا قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

76. Then when the truth came to them from Us, they said, 'This is surely a manifest magic [210].'

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 76

Ayah 81

فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئۡتُم بِهِ ٱلسِّحۡرُۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَيُبۡطِلُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

81. Then when they had cast down, Musa said, "What you have brought is sorcery [216]. Indeed, Allah will nullify it [217]. Surely, Allah does not support the deeds of the corrupt [218]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 81

Ayah 7

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ وَكَانَ عَرۡشُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلۡمَآءِ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَيُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلٗاۗ وَلَئِن قُلۡتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

7. And it is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days [17], and His Throne was on the water, that He might test you as to which of you is best in deeds [18]. And if you say, 'Indeed, you shall be raised after death,' then those who disbelieve will surely say, 'This is nothing but clear magic [19].'

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 7

Ayah 6

وَإِذۡ قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُم مُّصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرَۢا بِرَسُولٖ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِي ٱسۡمُهُۥٓ أَحۡمَدُۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

6. And when Isa bin Mariam said [11]: "O Children of Israeel! Surely, I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) to you confirming [12], that which is before me in the Tauraat, and giving the good news of a Messenger (Prophet) who will come after me. His name shall be Ahmad [13]." But, when he came to them with clear proofs, they said: "This is clear magic [14]."

Surah Name : As-Saff   Surah Number : 61   Ayat Number: 6

Ayah 7

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

7. And when Our clear Verses [16]are recited to them the infidels say about the truth, when it reaches them:"This is clear magic [17]".

Surah Name : Al-Ahqaf   Surah Number : 46   Ayat Number: 7

Ayah 24

فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ

24. And he said, "This is nothing but a magic that is narrated."

Surah Name : Al-Muddaththir   Surah Number : 74   Ayat Number: 24

Ayah 2

وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعۡرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحۡرٞ مُّسۡتَمِرّٞ

2.And if they see a miracle, they turn away their faces and say: "This is perpetual magic [3]."

Surah Name : Al-Qamar   Surah Number : 54   Ayat Number: 2

Ayah 30

وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

30. And when the Truth ( (QURAAN) came to them, they said: "This is magic, and we reject (47) it".
