Ayah 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ

1. Curse be on those who measure short[1].

Surah Name : Al-Mutaffifeen   Surah Number : 83   Ayat Number: 1

Ayah 3

وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ

3. But when they give by measure or by weight to others they reduce it [3].

Ayah 59

وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمۡ قَالَ ٱئۡتُونِي بِأَخٖ لَّكُم مِّنۡ أَبِيكُمۡۚ أَلَا تَرَوۡنَ أَنِّيٓ أُوفِي ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَأَنَا۠ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِينَ

59. And when he had provided their supplies [127], he said, "Bring to me your brother from your father. Do you not see that I give full measure and that I am the best host [128]?"

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 59

Ayah 60

فَإِن لَّمۡ تَأۡتُونِي بِهِۦ فَلَا كَيۡلَ لَكُمۡ عِندِي وَلَا تَقۡرَبُونِ

60. But if you do not bring him to me, then there will be no measure for you with me, and do not approach me.

Ayah 88

فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهۡلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئۡنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٖ مُّزۡجَىٰةٖ فَأَوۡفِ لَنَا ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَتَصَدَّقۡ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

88. When they came before Yusuf, they said, "O Aziz, distress has touched us and our family, and we have come with poor merchandise [187]. So give us full measure and be charitable to us [188]. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable [189]."

Ayah 181

۞أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡسِرِينَ

181. Fulfill the measure and be not of those who give less. [179]

Ayah 37

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٖ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنٗا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيۡهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزۡقٗاۖ قَالَ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَتۡ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرۡزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ

37. So her Lord graciously accepted her and made her grow in purity and excellent growth [79] and made Zakariya [80] her guardian. Whenever Zakariya entered her prayer chamber, to see her, he found fresh food supplied to her. He asked: "O Mariam, from where is this coming to you?" She said: "It is from Allah." Surely, Allah provides to whom He wills, without measure [81].

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 37

Ayah 35

وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ إِذَا كِلۡتُمۡ وَزِنُواْ بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ وَأَحۡسَنُ تَأۡوِيلٗا

35. And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance [84] . That is better and more favorable in the end.

Ayah 152

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُواْۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

152. And do not approach the property of orphans except in the best manner until they reach maturity [356]. And give full measure and weight in justice [357]. We do not burden a soul beyond its capacity [358]. And when you speak, be just, even if it concerns a relative [359]. And fulfill your covenant with Allah [360]. This is what He has enjoined upon you, that perhaps you may remember [361].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 152

Ayah 84

۞وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا تَنقُصُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيۡرٖ وَإِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٖ مُّحِيطٖ

84. And to Madyan [171], their brother Shu'ayb [172] said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. And do not diminish the measure and the weight. I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the punishment of a Day that will surround [173]."

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 84

Ayah 85

وَيَٰقَوۡمِ أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡمِكۡيَالَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

85. And O my people! Give full measure and weight with justice, and do not diminish the people’s due [174]. And do not spread corruption in the land [175].

Ayah 5

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

5. He regulates the affairs from the heavens and the earth [11]. Then it will return [12] to Him in a day, whose measure is a thousand years in your Counting (13).

Surah Name : As-Sajdah   Surah Number : 32   Ayat Number: 5

Ayah 4

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ

4. To Him ascend [4] the angels and Jibraeel[5] that chastisement will fall on a Day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years (6).

Ayah 16

قَوَارِيرَاْ مِن فِضَّةٖ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقۡدِيرٗا

16. And crystal-clear bottles of silver [23], which they have measured with precision [24].

Ayah 3

وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمۡرِهِۦۚ قَدۡ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدۡرٗا

3. And He will provide him sustenance from where he does not even imagine [17]. And whoever places his trust [18] in Allah, then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His command. Allah has certainly set a measure [19] for everything.

Surah Name : At-Talaq   Surah Number : 65   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 49

إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖ

49. Surely, We have created everything properly in the measure [66].

Surah Name : Al-Qamar   Surah Number : 54   Ayat Number: 49

Ayah 27

۞وَلَوۡ بَسَطَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٖ مَّا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرُۢ بَصِيرٞ

27. And had Allah increased the provisions of all His devotees (even then). they would have certainly rebelled(86) in the earth. But, He sends down according to a measure as He Wills. Surely. He is Aware and Sees His (87) devotees.

Surah Name : Ash-Shura   Surah Number : 42   Ayat Number: 27

Ayah 11

وَٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَنشَرۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ

11.He Who sends down water from the beaten in measure [14], and We thereby give life to dead land. Similarly you shall be brought [15] forth (on the Day of Judgement).
