Ayah 21

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩

21. And when the Qur'an is recited to them they do not prostrate [16]. (He who recites or listens to this verb must perform Sajdah-e-Tilawat)

Ayah 19

۩ كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب

19. Indeed, do not obey him but prostrate and draw near to Me. (One who recites or listens to the recitation of this verse is duty bound to offer Sajdah Tilawat) (18).

Ayah 6

وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ

6. And the stars and the trees prostrate [5].

Ayah 34

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

34. And (recall) when We ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam [66]. All of them prostrated, except Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and became one of the infidels [67].

Ayah 125

وَإِذۡ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡبَيۡتَ مَثَابَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمۡنٗا وَٱتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلّٗىۖ وَعَهِدۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيۡتِيَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ

125. And [recall] when We made the House (Ka'bah) a place of return and security [251] for the people, and designated the standing place [252] of Ibrahim as a site for prayer. And We enjoined upon Ibrahim and Ismail: "Purify [253] My House for those who perform Tawaaf, those who stay there for devotion, and those who bow and prostrate in prayer [254]."

Ayah 100

وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيۡهِ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ وَخَرُّواْ لَهُۥ سُجَّدٗاۖ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأۡوِيلُ رُءۡيَٰيَ مِن قَبۡلُ قَدۡ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّي حَقّٗاۖ وَقَدۡ أَحۡسَنَ بِيٓ إِذۡ أَخۡرَجَنِي مِنَ ٱلسِّجۡنِ وَجَآءَ بِكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡبَدۡوِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن نَّزَغَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَ إِخۡوَتِيٓۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٞ لِّمَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

100. He placed his parents on the throne [210], and they all fell prostrate to him [211]. Yusuf said, "O my father, this is the interpretation of my earlier vision [212]. My Lord has made it true. He has indeed shown me favor by bringing me out of prison [213] and bringing you here from the desert after Satan had caused discord between me and my brothers [214]. Surely my Lord is Subtle in His decree [215], and He is the All-Knowing, the Wise."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 100

Ayah 70

فَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدٗا قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ

70. Then all the magicians were made to prostrate [86] they said, ' We believe in him who is the Lord of Musa and Harun'. [87]

Ayah 91

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

91. Then the earthquake overtook them. So, in the morning they fell prostrate in their homes [221].

Ayah 120

وَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ

120. And the magicians fell down prostrate [254].

Ayah 25

أَلَّاۤ يَسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡخَبۡءَ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُخۡفُونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَ

25. Why they prostrate not before Allah Who brings forth the hidden things of the Heavens and the Earth[55] and knows what you conceal and what you declare?

Ayah 43

يَٰمَرۡيَمُ ٱقۡنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَٱسۡجُدِي وَٱرۡكَعِي مَعَ ٱلرَّـٰكِعِينَ

43. O Mariam, be obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow in prayer [95].

Ayah 113

۞لَيۡسُواْ سَوَآءٗۗ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أُمَّةٞ قَآئِمَةٞ يَتۡلُونَ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَهُمۡ يَسۡجُدُونَ

113. They are not all the same [250]. Among the People of the Book, there are some who are upright, reciting the verses of Allah during the night [251] and prostrating in prayer.

Ayah 61

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ قَالَ ءَأَسۡجُدُ لِمَنۡ خَلَقۡتَ طِينٗا

61. And when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," they prostrated except for Iblis. He said, "Shall I prostrate to one You have created from clay?" [135]

Ayah 60

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ قَالُواْ وَمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ أَنَسۡجُدُ لِمَا تَأۡمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمۡ نُفُورٗا۩

60. And when it is said to them, "Prostrate [107] to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Shall we prostrate to whatever you command us?" And this order increased their aversion [108].

Ayah 15

إِنَّمَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهَا خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَسَبَّحُواْ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ۩

15.Only they believe [31] in Our Signs who, when they are reminded of them they fall down prostrate [32], praising their Lord, expressing His Glory in full humility (33) (Sajdah Tilawat becomes obligatory upon one reciting it or hearing its recitation).

Surah Name : As-Sajdah   Surah Number : 32   Ayat Number: 15

Ayah 62

فَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلَّهِۤ وَٱعۡبُدُواْ۩

62. So prostrate yourselves [72] to Allah and worship Him. (On reciting or hearing this verse, perform Sajdah e Tilawat).

Surah Name : An-Najm   Surah Number : 53   Ayat Number: 62

Ayah 26

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلٗا طَوِيلًا

26. And prostrate [39] to Him during part of the night and glorify Him for long through the night [40],

Ayah 43

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ وَقَدۡ كَانُواْ يُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمۡ سَٰلِمُونَ

43. Their eyes shall be cast down [48], and humiliation shall overtake them [49]. But verily, they were called upon to prostrate [50] themselves, indeed, while they were all safe and sound[51].

Surah Name : Al-Qalam   Surah Number : 68   Ayat Number: 43

Ayah 42

يَوۡمَ يُكۡشَفُ عَن سَاقٖ وَيُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ

42. On the day when the leg shall be exposed [45], and they will be called upon to prostrate themselves [46], but they will not be able to do it [47].

Ayah 98

فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

98. So glorify the praise of your Lord and be among those who prostrate [108].
