Ayah 16

نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ

16.The forelock, due to sinfulness and falsifying [16],

Ayah 283

۞وَإِن كُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٖ وَلَمۡ تَجِدُواْ كَاتِبٗا فَرِهَٰنٞ مَّقۡبُوضَةٞۖ فَإِنۡ أَمِنَ بَعۡضُكُم بَعۡضٗا فَلۡيُؤَدِّ ٱلَّذِي ٱؤۡتُمِنَ أَمَٰنَتَهُۥ وَلۡيَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّهُۥۗ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُواْ ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَۚ وَمَن يَكۡتُمۡهَا فَإِنَّهُۥٓ ءَاثِمٞ قَلۡبُهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ عَلِيمٞ

283. And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, let there be a pledge [763] with possession. And if [764] one of you entrusts [765] the other, then let him who is entrusted discharge his trust (faithfully) and let him fear Allah, his Lord, and conceal not the testimony. And whosoever conceals [766] it, his heart is indeed sinful [767]. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 283

Ayah 97

قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا خَٰطِـِٔينَ

97. They said, "O our father, seek forgiveness for us for our sins. Indeed, we have been sinful [205]."

Ayah 110

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ٱسۡتَيۡـَٔسَ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ قَدۡ كُذِبُواْ جَآءَهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَا فَنُجِّيَ مَن نَّشَآءُۖ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأۡسُنَا عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

110. And when the messengers had almost despaired and thought that they were being denied [229], Our help came to them, and We saved whom We willed [230]. And Our punishment cannot be averted from the sinful people.

Ayah 133

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلۡجَرَادَ وَٱلۡقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَٰتٖ مُّفَصَّلَٰتٖ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا مُّجۡرِمِينَ

133. Then We sent upon them the flood [276], locusts [277], lice [278], frogs [279], and blood [280]—clear signs. But they became arrogant and were a people of sin.

Ayah 63

لَوۡلَا يَنۡهَىٰهُمُ ٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ عَن قَوۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَأَكۡلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصۡنَعُونَ

63. Why do their clergymen and priests not forbid [188] them from speaking sinful words and consuming what is forbidden? How wretched is what they have been practicing.

Ayah 32

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ

32.They said: "We have certainly been sent to a sinful [33] people."

Ayah 12

مَّنَّاعٖ لِّلۡخَيۡرِ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

12.Forbidder[11] of good, transgressor, sinful [12].

لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمًا
