Ayah 2

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا

2. Bringing out sparks from stones striking their hooves [2].

Surah Name : Al-Adiyat   Surah Number : 100   Ayat Number: 2

Ayah 4

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ

4. Striking them with stones of baked clay [4].

Ayah 18

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

18. They replied: "We surely augur evil [25] fortune from you. If you do not desist [26], we shall surely stone you, and a painful punishment shall surely fall on you (27), at our hands".

Ayah 24

فَإِن لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَلَن تَفۡعَلُواْ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُۖ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

24.But if you fail to do so and surely you are bound to fail [45] - then guard yourselves against the Fire whose fuel are men and stones [46], which has been prepared for the infidels.

Ayah 60

۞وَإِذِ ٱسۡتَسۡقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ فَقُلۡنَا ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡحَجَرَۖ فَٱنفَجَرَتۡ مِنۡهُ ٱثۡنَتَا عَشۡرَةَ عَيۡنٗاۖ قَدۡ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٖ مَّشۡرَبَهُمۡۖ كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ مِن رِّزۡقِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

60.And recall when Musa prayed for water for his people, then We said: "Strike the stone with your staff." At once, there gushed forth from it twelve [108] springs. And every group (tribe) knew its drinking place. Eat and drink from the provisions of Allah and do not go about corrupting the earth with mischief [109].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 60

Ayah 74

ثُمَّ قَسَتۡ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَهِيَ كَٱلۡحِجَارَةِ أَوۡ أَشَدُّ قَسۡوَةٗۚ وَإِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنۡهُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ وَإِنَّ مِنۡهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُ ٱلۡمَآءُۚ وَإِنَّ مِنۡهَا لَمَا يَهۡبِطُ مِنۡ خَشۡيَةِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

74. Then, thereafter, your hearts hardened [133]; so they are hard like stones, nay, even worse than stones in hardness. For verily, there are some stones from which streams gush forth, some split asunder and water flows from them, and there are some that fall down for the fear [134] of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of your doings [135].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 74

Ayah 264

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُبۡطِلُواْ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلۡمَنِّ وَٱلۡأَذَىٰ كَٱلَّذِي يُنفِقُ مَالَهُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۖ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ صَفۡوَانٍ عَلَيۡهِ تُرَابٞ فَأَصَابَهُۥ وَابِلٞ فَتَرَكَهُۥ صَلۡدٗاۖ لَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

264. O you who believe! Do not render in vain your charities by boasting of your favors conferred followed by injury [691], like him who spent [692] his wealth for showing to people and believes not in Allah and the Last Day. Then the example of such a person is like that of a smooth rock upon which is dust [693]; and it is struck by a heavy rain, leaving it a bare stone [694]. They shall have no control [695] on anything of what they have earned, and Allah does not guide the people who disbelieve [696].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 264

Ayah 17

أَمۡ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ كَيۡفَ نَذِيرِ

17. Or, do you feel secure [35] from Him Who is in the heaven, that He will not send upon you a storm of stones? Then you will know how My warning [36] was.

Ayah 20

إِنَّهُمۡ إِن يَظۡهَرُواْ عَلَيۡكُمۡ يَرۡجُمُوكُمۡ أَوۡ يُعِيدُوكُمۡ فِي مِلَّتِهِمۡ وَلَن تُفۡلِحُوٓاْ إِذًا أَبَدٗا

20. Indeed, if they were to gain dominance over you, they would stone you or force you back into their faith, and if that were to happen, you would never succeed [44].

Ayah 46

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِي يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ لَأَرۡجُمَنَّكَۖ وَٱهۡجُرۡنِي مَلِيّٗا

46. He said, "Do you turn away from my gods, O Ibrahim? If you do not desist [77], I will surely stone you. And be away from me for a long time."

Ayah 32

وَإِذۡ قَالُواْ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ مِنۡ عِندِكَ فَأَمۡطِرۡ عَلَيۡنَا حِجَارَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئۡتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

32. And when they said: "O Allah! If this is indeed the truth from You, then send down upon us stones [65] from the sky, or bring us a painful punishment."

Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 32

Ayah 118

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةٗ مِّن دُونِكُمۡ لَا يَأۡلُونَكُمۡ خَبَالٗا وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ قَدۡ بَدَتِ ٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ مِنۡ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَمَا تُخۡفِي صُدُورُهُمۡ أَكۡبَرُۚ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ

118. O believers! [258] Do not make strangers your intimate confidants [259], for they will not leave any stone unturned in harming you. They wish you had hardship. Hostility is apparent from their utterances [260] and what they have concealed in their breasts is even greater. We have certainly made clear to you Our signs, if you will use reason.

Ayah 50

۞قُلۡ كُونُواْ حِجَارَةً أَوۡ حَدِيدًا

50. Say, "Be stones or iron".

Surah Name : Al-Isra   Surah Number : 17   Ayat Number: 50

Ayah 68

أَفَأَمِنتُمۡ أَن يَخۡسِفَ بِكُمۡ جَانِبَ ٱلۡبَرِّ أَوۡ يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗا ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُواْ لَكُمۡ وَكِيلًا

68. Have you then become secure that He will not cause the land's edge to swallow you [149] or send against you a storm of stones? Then you will not find for yourselves any protector [150].

Surah Name : Al-Isra   Surah Number : 17   Ayat Number: 68

Ayah 82

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا جَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَا حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ مَّنضُودٖ

82. Then, when Our command came, We turned the town upside down [168] and rained upon it stones of baked clay continuously [169].

Ayah 83

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٖ

83. Which are marked by your Lord, and those stones are not far from the unjust people [170].

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 83

Ayah 91

قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَهُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفٗاۖ وَلَوۡلَا رَهۡطُكَ لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡنَا بِعَزِيزٖ

91. They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand [185] much of what you say, and indeed, we see you weak [186] among us. If it were not for your tribe [187], we would have stoned you, for you are not dear to us [188]."

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 91

Ayah 33

لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن طِينٖ

33.That We may let loose upon them stones [34] of baked clay.

Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 33

Ayah 6

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارٗا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٞ شِدَادٞ لَّا يَعۡصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ

6. O believers! Save [22] yourselves and your families from the fire whose [23] fuel are men and stones. Over it are angels, stern and strong. They do not disobey (24) Allah in what le Commands them, and act as they are commanded (25).

Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 6

Ayah 74

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

74.Then We made the upper side of that town lower [85] and rained upon them stones of baked clay [86] (i.e., We turned the town upside down and pelted them with stones made of baked clay).
