Ayah 33

قَالَ يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئۡهُم بِأَسۡمَآئِهِمۡۖ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسۡمَآئِهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ غَيۡبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَأَعۡلَمُ مَا تُبۡدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡتُمُونَ

33. He (Allah) said: "O Adam! Inform them of the names of these things" [65]. When he (Adam) informed them of the names of all these things, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know all the hidden mysteries of the heavens and the earth, and I know whatever you disclose and whatever you conceal?"

Ayah 34

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

34. And (recall) when We ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam [66]. All of them prostrated, except Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and became one of the infidels [67].

Ayah 35

وَقُلۡنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسۡكُنۡ أَنتَ وَزَوۡجُكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنۡهَا رَغَدًا حَيۡثُ شِئۡتُمَا وَلَا تَقۡرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

35. And We said: "O Adam, dwell [68] you and your wife in Paradise and eat therefrom in abundance as you like, but do not approach this tree [69] lest you become one of the wrongdoers [70]."

Ayah 36

فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ عَنۡهَا فَأَخۡرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِۖ وَقُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

36.Then Shaitaan caused the two to slip out [71] of it and removed them from the abode. And We said: "Get down (all of you) [72] as enemies to one another. And you will have on the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time" [73].

Ayah 37

فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٖ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

37. Then Adam learned certain words (of repentance) [74] from his Lord and He (Allah) accepted his repentance. Surely, He is the Most-Relenting, the Merciful [75].

Ayah 58

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوحٖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَآۚ إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَبُكِيّٗا۩ا

58. These are they on whom Allah bestowed His blessings [98] from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam and those whom We bore [99] with Noah, and of the offspring of Abraham [100] and Israel [101], and those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the verses of the Most Merciful are recited to them [102], they fall down in prostration and weeping [103].

Ayah 115

وَلَقَدۡ عَهِدۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَنَسِيَ وَلَمۡ نَجِدۡ لَهُۥ عَزۡمٗا

115. And indeed, We had given an emphatic commandment [161] to Adam before this, then he forgot and We did not find his intention [162].
