Ayah 255

255. Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Slumber [652] does not overtake Him, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? [653] He knows what is before them and what will be after them [654], and they do not encompass anything of His knowledge [655] except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth [656], and preserving them does not burden Him. And He is the Highest, the Most Great.
