Ayah 58

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ذُو ٱلرَّحۡمَةِۖ لَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ بَل لَّهُم مَّوۡعِدٞ لَّن يَجِدُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَوۡئِلٗا

58. And your Lord is the Forgiver, full of mercy. If He were to seize them for what they did, He would have hastened the torment [139] for them. But for them, there is an appointed time [140], against which they will find no refuge.

Ayah 111

وَإِنۡ أَدۡرِي لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتۡنَةٞ لَّكُمۡ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

111. And I know not, so that it may be a trial [171] for you and the provision for a fixed time.

Ayah 53

وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَوۡلَآ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ وَلَيَأۡتِيَنَّهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

53. And they are asking you to hasten the torment [135]. And if there had not been an appointed term, then most certainly the torment would have come upon them [136]. And it shall come upon them suddenly when they are unaware [137].

99. And do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and the earth [205], is able to create the like of them [206]? And He has appointed for them a term about which there is no doubt [207]. But the unjust refuse to accept anything but disbelief.

Ayah 24

نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٖ

24.We shall allow them to enjoy a little[54], then making them helpless. We shall drive them towards severe punishment [55].

14. And they did not divide, but after the knowledge [36] had come to them, on account of their own jealousy. And had not the saying of your Lord gone [37]forth for an appointed term, the matter would have been settled among them (38)? And surely, those who come to inherit the Book after them are also in doubt (39) and are disturbed regarding it.

Ayah 34

أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ

34.0r. He can destroy them on account of their sins. But there is much that He pardons [98].
