Ayah 31 أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَ 31. Have they not seen [45] that how many generations before them We have destroyed? Surely they are not to return to them[46]. Surah Name : Ya-Sin Surah Number : 36 Ayat Number: 31 View Tafseer
Ayah 133 إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَيَأۡتِ بِـَٔاخَرِينَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرٗا 133. O People! If He pleases [399] He can take you away and bring others. Ayah 18 وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ 18. And certainly, those before them rejected. Then how was My punishment [37]? Surah Name : Al-Mulk Surah Number : 67 Ayat Number: 18 View Tafseer
Ayah 59 وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَعَلۡنَا لِمَهۡلِكِهِم مَّوۡعِدٗا 59. And those towns We destroyed when they committed injustices, and We had appointed a fixed time for their destruction [141]. Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 59 View Tafseer
Ayah 6 مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ 6. No town, which We destroyed, had believed before them; will they then believe [11]? Surah Name : Al-Anbiya Surah Number : 21 Ayat Number: 6 View Tafseer
Ayah 11 وَكَمۡ قَصَمۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٖ كَانَتۡ ظَالِمَةٗ وَأَنشَأۡنَا بَعۡدَهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ 11. And how many towns that were oppressing [18], We utterly destroyed and raised up another people after them [19]. Surah Name : Al-Anbiya Surah Number : 21 Ayat Number: 11 View Tafseer
Ayah 13 لَا تَرۡكُضُواْ وَٱرۡجِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتۡرِفۡتُمۡ فِيهِ وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡـَٔلُونَ 13. Flee not, and return to those comforts, which were given to you [21] and to your homes, so that, you are to be questioned [22]. Surah Name : Al-Anbiya Surah Number : 21 Ayat Number: 13 View Tafseer
Ayah 95 وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَ 95. And it is forbidden to town, which We have destroyed, that they returned [148]. Surah Name : Al-Anbiya Surah Number : 21 Ayat Number: 95 View Tafseer
Ayah 74 وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا 74. And how many generations We have destroyed before them, that they were better in goods and outward show than them [131]. Surah Name : Maryam Surah Number : 19 Ayat Number: 74 View Tafseer
Ayah 98 وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا 98. And how many generations We have destroyed before them. Do you perceive any of them, or hear from them a whisper [160]? Surah Name : Maryam Surah Number : 19 Ayat Number: 98 View Tafseer
Ayah 128 أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ 128. Has it then not given guidance to them that how many a generation, We have destroyed before them that in whose dwellings they walk? [181]. Indeed therein are signs for men of wisdom [182]. Ayah 134 وَلَوۡ أَنَّآ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِعَذَابٖ مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَآ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَيۡنَا رَسُولٗا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخۡزَىٰ 134. And had we destroyed them before the coming of the Messenger, then they would have necessarily said, 'O my Lord, why you sent not a Messenger [195] that we might have followed your signs before we were disgraced and humiliated' [196]. Ayah 4 وَكَم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوۡ هُمۡ قَآئِلُونَ 4. And how many towns have We destroyed! So Our punishment came upon them by night [4] or while they were resting at noon [5]. Surah Name : Al-Araf Surah Number : 7 Ayat Number: 4 View Tafseer
Ayah 10 ۞أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡثَٰلُهَا 10.Have they not travelled in the land so that they may see what was the end [23]of those who were before them? Allah destroys [24] them utterly, and the infidels shall get the like thereof(25). Surah Name : Muhammad Surah Number : 47 Ayat Number: 10 View Tafseer
Ayah 34 فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ 34. So the evil consequences of what they did fell upon them [72], and that which they used to mock surrounded them. Surah Name : An-Nahl Surah Number : 16 Ayat Number: 34 View Tafseer
Ayah 69 قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ 69. Say you travel to the earth and see, how were the end of the culprits[134]. Surah Name : An-Naml Surah Number : 27 Ayat Number: 69 View Tafseer
Ayah 137 قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ سُنَنٞ فَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ 137. Many civilizations have passed before you. So travel through the earth [292] and observe how the end of those who denied the truth [293] was. Surah Name : Al Imran Surah Number : 3 Ayat Number: 137 View Tafseer
Ayah 17 وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ نُوحٖۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرَۢا بَصِيرٗا 17. And how many generations [46] We have destroyed after Nuh. And your Lord is enough as the All-Aware and the All-Seeing of the sins of His servants [47]. Surah Name : Al-Isra Surah Number : 17 Ayat Number: 17 View Tafseer
Ayah 58 وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةِۭ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِيشَتَهَاۖ فَتِلۡكَ مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡكَن مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗاۖ وَكُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ 58. And how many a city have We destroyed [149] that behaved boastfully in their luxurious life [150]. And these are their homes [151], which were inhabited after them only briefly [152], and We are the inheritors [153]. Surah Name : Al-Qasas Surah Number : 28 Ayat Number: 58 View Tafseer
Ayah 5 أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ 5. Has there not come to you the news [9] of those who disbelieved [10] before? Then they tasted the evil result of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment (11). Surah Name : At-Taghabun Surah Number : 64 Ayat Number: 5 View Tafseer
