Ayah 97

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ قَالُواْ فِيمَ كُنتُمۡۖ قَالُواْ كُنَّا مُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ قَالُوٓاْ أَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ أَرۡضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٗ فَتُهَاجِرُواْ فِيهَاۚ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَسَآءَتۡ مَصِيرًا

97. Those whose souls are taken by the angels while they were wronging themselves [311], the angels will ask them, "In what condition were you?" They will reply, "We were weak in the land." The angels will respond, "Was not Allah's earth spacious enough for you to emigrate [312]?" Then the abode of such people is Hell, and what an evil destination it is.

Ayah 98

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنِ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةٗ وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ سَبِيلٗا

98.Except for those who are oppressed among men, women, and children, who are unable to devise [313] any plan or find a way [314] to escape.

Ayah 99

فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَعۡفُوَ عَنۡهُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورٗا

99. For those it is expected that Allah will pardon them. And Allah is Ever Pardoning, Most Forgiving.
