Ayah 52 قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ 52.They will say: "Ah! Woe[80] to us. who has awakened us from our slumber [81]? The day that their faces shall be turned in the fire, they will say: "O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger [189]". Ayah 54 وَلَوۡ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفۡسٖ ظَلَمَتۡ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَٱفۡتَدَتۡ بِهِۦۗ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَۖ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ 54. And if every unjust soul [152] had all that is in the earth, it would surely ransom itself with it. And they were secretly ashamed [153] in their hearts when they saw the punishment. Ayah 40 إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا 40. Certainly, We warn you of a punishment which is nearby; the day when man will see whatever his hands have sent forward [25], and every infidel will say: "Would that I were mere dust" [26].
