Ayah 224

224. And make not Allah the target of your oaths [533], that you take an oath for not doing good, nor for fearing [534] Allah, nor for making peace among people. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 224

Ayah 53

53. And they have sworn by Allah with utmost strength in their oaths that if you were to command them, they would certainly march forth in Allah's cause [138]. Say, "Do not swear; obedience is required; indeed, Allah is aware of what you do" [139].

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 92

92. And do not be like the woman who untwists her yarn into pieces [206] after it was strong. You make your oaths a means of deceit among yourselves so that one community becomes more numerous [207] than another. Allah only tests [208] you by this, and He will surely make clear [209] to you on the Day of Judgment what you used to dispute [210].
