Ayah 18

وَلَا تَحَـٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

18.Nor do you urge each other to feed the needy [18].

Surah Name : Al-Fajr   Surah Number : 89   Ayat Number: 18

Ayah 13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ

13.It is freeing of a person in bondage [13].

Ayah 16

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ

16.Or, the poor person, lying in the dust [16],

Ayah 3

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

3. And does not urge the feeding of the needy [3]

Ayah 77

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمۡ كُفُّوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَخۡشَوۡنَ ٱلنَّاسَ كَخَشۡيَةِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ أَشَدَّ خَشۡيَةٗۚ وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبۡتَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡقِتَالَ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖۗ قُلۡ مَتَٰعُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا قَلِيلٞ وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لِّمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَلَا تُظۡلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا

77. Have you not seen those who were told: "Restrain your hands[245], and establish Salah (prayer) and pay Zakah (compulsory dues to the poor)?" But when fighting was made obligatory[246] upon them, then a group of them feared people as they should fear Allah, or even more. And they said: "O our Lord! Why have You prescribed fighting upon us?[249] If only You would postpone us to a near term." Say to them (O Beloved Muhammad): "The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for him who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you (even) as much as a thread[250]."

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 77

Ayah 236

لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِن طَلَّقۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ مَا لَمۡ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ أَوۡ تَفۡرِضُواْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةٗۚ وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى ٱلۡمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُۥ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتِرِ قَدَرُهُۥ مَتَٰعَۢا بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

236. There is no blame on you if you divorce women whom you have not touched [580], or if you have not yet set a dowry for them [581]. But give them something to benefit from according to your means: the wealthy according to his capacity, and the less fortunate according to his capacity—this is an obligation [582] on those who do good [583].

Ayah 271

إِن تُبۡدُواْ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَۖ وَإِن تُخۡفُوهَا وَتُؤۡتُوهَا ٱلۡفُقَرَآءَ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۚ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

271. If you offer your charity openly, then it is a good thing [713]. But, if you conceal it, and give it to the poor, then it is much better for you. And He will remove some of your sins [714]. And Allah is aware of what you do.

Ayah 79

أَمَّا ٱلسَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتۡ لِمَسَٰكِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَآءَهُم مَّلِكٞ يَأۡخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصۡبٗا

79. As for the boat, it belonged to poor people [179] who worked at sea. I intended to make it faulty [180] because there was a king behind them who seized every intact boat by force [181].

Ayah 31

وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوۡصَٰنِي بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيّٗا

31. And He made me blessed wherever I may be [51] and enjoined upon me prayer and charity [52] as long as I live.

Ayah 55

وَكَانَ يَأۡمُرُ أَهۡلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرۡضِيّٗا

55. And he bade [94] his family to pray and give Zakat, and was pleasing to his Lord [95].

Ayah 32

وَأَنكِحُواْ ٱلۡأَيَٰمَىٰ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ مِنۡ عِبَادِكُمۡ وَإِمَآئِكُمۡۚ إِن يَكُونُواْ فُقَرَآءَ يُغۡنِهِمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ

32. And perform the marriage of those among you who have not been married [76], and of your suitable servants [77] and handmaids [78]. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His Bounty [79]. And Allah is All-Sufficient, Knowing.

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 32

Ayah 56

وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

56. And establish prayer, give the poor due (Zakat), and obey the Messenger, so that you may receive mercy [149].

Ayah 3

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ

3. Those who observe the prayer [3] and pay the poor due (Zakat) (4) and they have firm faith in the hereafter. (5).

Ayah 60

۞إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيۡهَا وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةٗ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ,

60. The poor due is only for those who are poor and needy, and those who collect [162] it, and for those whose hearts are to be conciliated [163] for Islam, and for the freeing [164] of slaves and for debtors and for spending in the way of Allah [165], and for the traveler [166]. This has been ordained by Allah [167]. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 60

Ayah 8

يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

8. They say, "If we return [24] to Madinah, the honorable ones will surely expel the lowly ones from it [25]." But all honor belongs to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers [26], yet the hypocrites do not know [27].

Surah Name : Al-Munafiqun   Surah Number : 63   Ayat Number: 8

Ayah 34

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

34.Nor did he urge the feeding[40] of the poor.

Surah Name : Al-Haqqah   Surah Number : 69   Ayat Number: 34

Ayah 44

وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ

44." And we did not feed the poor [40],"

Surah Name : Al-Muddaththir   Surah Number : 74   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 8

لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُخۡرِجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ يَبۡتَغُونَ فَضۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَٰنٗا وَيَنصُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ

8. Booty is for the poor refugees who were driven from [24] their homes and their possessions, seeking grace [25] of Allah and His Pleasure, and assisting (26) Allah and His Messenger. These are the truthful persons (27).
