Verset 11 sur 20

وَذَرۡنِي وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِي ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِيلًا

Wa zarnee walmukaz zibeena ulin na'mati wa mahhilhum qaleelaa
11. Laisse-Moi avec les contradicteurs,[584] qui sont privilégiés par les biens (de ce monde). Accorde-leur quelque répit.

إِنَّ لَدَيۡنَآ أَنكَالٗا وَجَحِيمٗا

12. Nous disposons (pour eux) de lourdes chaînes et d’un ardent Brasier,

وَطَعَامٗا ذَا غُصَّةٖ وَعَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا

Wa ta'aaman zaa ghussa tinw wa'azaaban aleemaa
13. d’une nourriture qui étouffe et d’un supplice très douloureux.

Verset 14 sur 20

يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَثِيبٗا مَّهِيلًا

Yawma tarjuful ardu waljibaalu wa kaanatil jibaalu kaseebam maheelaa
14. Ce jour-là, la terre et les montagnes s’ébranleront ; et les massifs se mueront en dunes de terre mouvante.

Verset 15 sur 20

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ رَسُولٗا شَٰهِدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولٗا

Innaa arsalnaaa ilaikum rasoolan shaahidan 'aleykum kamaaa arsalnaaa ilaa Fir'awna rasoolaa
15. Nous vous avons envoyé un Messager qui témoignera contre vous, comme Nous avions déjà envoyé un Messager à Pharaon.

Verset 16 sur 20

فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ أَخۡذٗا وَبِيلٗا

Fa'asaa Fir'awnur Rasoola fa akhaznaahu akhzanw wabeelaa
16. Pharaon ayant désobéi au Messager, Nous sévîmes contre lui d’une façon implacable.

Verset 17 sur 20

فَكَيۡفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ يَوۡمٗا يَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنَ شِيبًا

Fakaifa tattaqoona in kafartum yawmany yaj'alul wildaana sheeba
17. Comment, si vous mécroyez, pourrez-vous donc vous protéger d’un jour où les enfants seront chenus ?

Verset 18 sur 20

ٱلسَّمَآءُ مُنفَطِرُۢ بِهِۦۚ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَفۡعُولًا

Assamaaa'u munfatirum bih; kaana wa'duhoo maf'oola
18. Le ciel, alors, en sera fendu, car Sa promesse à Lui se sera accomplie.

Verset 19 sur 20

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا

Inna haazihee tazkiratun fa man shaaa'at takhaza ilaa Rabbihee sabeelaa
19. Voilà qui est un rappel. Prenne donc qui voudra le chemin vers son Seigneur !

Verset 20 sur 20

۞إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةٞ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضۡرِبُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗاۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيۡرٗا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرٗاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمُۢ

Inna Rabbaka ya'lamu annaka taqoomu adnaa min sulusa yil laili wa nisfahoo wa sulusahoo wa taaa'ifatum minal lazeena ma'ak; wal laahu yuqaddirul laila wanna haar; 'alima al lan tuhsoohu fataaba 'alaikum faqra'oo maa tayassara minal quraan; 'alima an sa yakoonu minkum mardaa wa aakharoona yadriboona fil ardi yabtaghoona min fadlil laahi wa aakharoona yuqaatiloona fee sabeelil laahi faqra'oo ma tayassara minhu wa aqeemus salaata wa aatuz zakaata wa aqridul laaha qardan hasanaa; wa maa tuqaddimoo li anfusikum min khairin tajidoohu 'indal laahi huwa khayranw wa a'zama ajraa; wastaghfirul laahaa innal laaha ghafoorur raheem.
20. Ton Seigneur Sait que, toi et quelques-uns de ceux qui t’accompagnent, vous vous levez (pour prier) durant les deux tiers, parfois la moitié et parfois le tiers, de la nuit. Or c’est Allah Qui Sait estimer (la durée) de la nuit et du jour. Il Sait que vous ne pourrez passer toute la nuit à prier et vous pardonne. Récitez donc ce que vous pourrez du Coran, car (Allah) Sait que parmi vous il y a des malades, que d’autres ont à parcourir la terre pour quêter les faveurs d’Allah ; que d’autres encore combattent pour la cause d’Allah. Récitez-en donc ce que vous pourrez ! Accomplissez la Çalât ! Acquittez-vous de la Zakât ! Faites à Allah un prêt de bonne volonté ! Tout ce que vous aurez avancé comme bien pour vous-mêmes (en ce bas monde), vous le trouverez bien meilleur auprès d’Allah et bien mieux récompensé. Implorez le pardon d’Allah, car Allah est Absoluteur et Tout Miséricordieux.
